  On December the 14th 2025 me my son and his grandmother went to Best Buy to buy a gaming PC monitor so the guy helped us with the monitor he explained everything about the monitor to us so we purchased the monitor we got this surance for the monitor and that was $89.00 and that covers if anything happens to it or it stopped working or liquid damages that we will have To bring it back to Best Buy so the Geek Squad can fix it My son and grandmother had asked him do y'all have somebody that come out that can hook up the gaming monitor and he said yes but he never explained to us that you have to pay for it I didn't know nothing about it until I called the customer service number and the guy said it cost for them to come out to the house I said well they didn't tell me that he just told me to call to make an appointment all they're doing is just give me a run around back and forth back and forth on December the 21st I called Best Buy phone number not knowing that I'm not going to get a live person from the store the car rerouted me to their customer service number I got a rude lady on the phone I didn't know even know what was her name I just know it was a weird name and she was like well I can help you I explained to her 17 times I wanted to speak to a manager I repeated it Lee told her that she would not be able to help me but she proceeded to say that she can help me and I said I want to speak to a manager it's about a product that I have brought from Best Buy and you would not be able to help me and she gonna tell me like I said I can help you I asked her to speak to her supervisor he didn't sing to care about what I was telling him he just said OK he will talk to her which that I know he didn't talk to her but these stores have rude customer service I can't get ahold to nobody incorporate our talk to someone about my experience about the phone about the experience I experienced in the store today I went back down to the store today about 12:20 I spoke to the manager his name is Juan and I asked him how do I pay for the Geek Squad to come to my house to set up the gaming PC for me he said you gotta pay for it with a credit card or you can pay them and I asked him will they give me a receipt his response was I will hope so so that made me not confident that I will get a receipt showing that the Geek Squad came out to my house and I was not very happy about that I left out of there very upset and angry because all I'm getting is the run around with Best Buy and as a customer as much as money that I spent for this gaming PC that service should be free This is the store where I went.   Helpful and friendly service, plus they did exactly what I expected and paid for...yes, I would use them again.

  I dropped off my software for the techs to reinstall on my computer. I had been having some issues with my computer and I took it in for a "tuneup". It ended up needing a bit more work and they had to do a factory reset or something like that. I'm glad we pay for the service yearly, so we're able to get the maintenance taken care of and it is much more manageable than paying out of pocket.
