This review is for Michelle, the sales associate. She was highly considerate, calm, composed, and patient with our family and well understood our needs. Although we didnt end up purchasing the product that day, she left no stone unturned to ensure we were not pressured into purchasing. Give her a bonus!

One the worst Apple stores in the bay area, poorly run and employees are all gathered around the middle chatting without helping out the customers. Apple used to be the pinnacle of customer obsession now it is laughable. This store needs training for the reps quickly.

Many of the stores are closing. I was here before Christmas and the mall was packed. Then immediately after Christmas tons of stores closing. GameStop, Poke Restaurant, Panda Express, Cinnabon, JcPenney, arcade/game place downstairs etc. it’s such a weird thing to see a fully packed mall and then in less than 2 weeks see this many stores close.

Bought a brand new iPhone only used it for 3 weeks very gently dropped it from the couch to the floor (very small drop) whole screen turned white screen didn’t crack no scratches or dents considering how gentle the fall was Took it into this location looking for a solution since phone was still under warranty technician diagnosed the phone all while getting a sales agent to accompany him before the diagnosis even completed long story short they said I damaged the hardware which cancels out warranty so they would not have to replace the phone but instead sell me another brand new one quoted close to $1k for the repair stating that it was a hardware issue and it wasn’t worth fixing so I decided to just use my old iPhone 1 year later after the phone is no longer in its prime I decided to take the iPhone with (hardware issues) into a third party repair shop he said there was no internal damage and it was just my screen come loose and had it fixed in 20 mins for $120 one thing I don’t like is to be scammed Apple should do something about the shady practices no telling how many people they have taken advantage of so far attached photos of phone to show even after this time period phone is in brand new condition and FIXED for $120 vs paying over $1k for a brand new phone SHADY

Came in for an AppleCare appointment. After several weeks and several phone calls and visits, was told they didn’t even try to replicate the overheating issue that I brought the insured product in for. Asked me to return to the location to drop off the charging cord so they could take photos of it to upload to the Eng team. Worked out with the manager that bc the request was for just photos, any Apple Store would work and arranged with the manager I would do this at a closer location to me. Later, they told me that because they only asked for photos, they couldn’t even try to replicate the issue? And that because it’s a safety escalation to ship an overheating device to a testing center for further testing, they can’t triage this to the appropriate support team? They seem to not have an SOP on any of this and are just making it up on the fly. I was told different things by different staff members. Was also told several times they would ship the device back to me because I live farther away, and now they are threatening that either I pick it up in person or the product will be not be returned. Have spent several hours of my life managing the hostility, illogical reasoning, and passive aggression of multiple staff at the Apple Stoneridge center. They seem untrained, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Seems like they are penalized for every AppleCare product they manage, so they’re probably highly disincentivized to provide any standard of care.
