  They are extremely disorganized. They wasted my time with 2 unnecessary visits just to tell me the laptop wasn’t serviceable.

  Disappointed with geek squad at Pleasant Hill Best Buy. I went in wanting to have a charge port replaced on a iPhone. $21 item on eBay for a OEM original part made by Apple. Geek Squad tries to tell me changing that part requires replacing the logic board: a $655 component plus service fee. I was told by geek squad tech that the two are soldered together and therefore have to be replaced together. This is a LIE! Service tech videos and parts and parts diagrams shows the charge port is connected to logic board via a simple ribbon style plug. Not hard soldered together. This geek squad tech tried to lie to my face to up charge from a $21 time to a $655 item. I complained to management who listened nicely to my complaint, and acknowledged he felt I was being told something incorrect. But buyer beware, the geek squad service techs here are fraudulently telling lies to trick customers into up charges. Shame. Go somewhere else for your service.

  I ask for a free 20minutes test that they offer the guy said he wouldn’t do it and said they charge 500$ DOLLARS TO RUN A DIAGNOSTIC 500 is crazy meanwhile my friend in Arizona paid 50$ that’s a lot more reasonable it’s a scam definitely never going there for a problem on my pc
