  Extremely unprofessional, canceled appointment for no reason and took no accountability. They require you to answer their phone calls to confirm appointment even though they say you can digitally book appointment and confirm online which I DID. They were extremely unaccountable and have no idea how hard it is to travel with 2 cats. They booked my appointments with other people in front of my face. All other vets have never done this ever. The manager Tommy refused to handle the situation and will be escalating to his manager. If you are in Pasadena, find another vet.

  VCA was offering a free first exam so I called to book, I specifically made sure it was okay that I have a rabbit and can still use the coupon. Today AFTER DRIVING ALL THE WAY FROM SANTA CLARITA I came in for them to tell me they don’t accept the coupon for exotics and I’ll have to pay $172 for the exam fee?? I told them the time I called and date and that I was specifically told this and 1) wouldn’t have made my rabbit sit through this car ride while sick and 2) wouldn’t have driven all this way myself for NO REASON they then argued with me that their prices are comparable to other places, he now has an appointment with another vet for a $70 exam fee so… waste of my time, horrible communication, they should’ve called me to confirm and tell me this beforehand or never lied in the first place.

  Please consider that this review is based on my personal experience... That said, This place runs the biggest racket that I've witnessed. They simply take advantage of how much we love our pets, and how vulnerable we are at the moment. I took my pet in for emergency check-up... 30 minutes later, we were sent home with no answers, no medication, and no relief whatsoever for my pet. I paid the $1500 bill... And was told that they would contact me to discuss the results of the tests they performed on my pet. That was 2 weeks ago, these crooks have not contacted me yet. After we left this place, I drove to a real animal clinic, and I was charged only $224 for the same tests. Here they sent us home with a diagnosis, meds, and my beloved pet feeling better. So, based on what me and my pet went through, i'll say this... If you truly love your pets, DO NOT take them to VCA A Breed Apart! These people have no heart! Thank you
