  I cannot recommend this place enough. We got our first dog and scheduled an appointment for her first check up and everyone was wonderful. We had so many questions and they had answers and guidance for everything. We asked about certain vaccines and they gave their recommendation. The next appointment, they followed up on our previous conversation and even did research on something we discussed to help us make a more informed decision. Our dog gets so excited to go to the vet and the staff really take the time to know your animal to ensure they are comfortable. I used a live chat feature on the app to get advice on concerns I had about my puppy and was so thankful. The next morning, the tech called to check on our little one to see if she has had improvement and offered an urgent appointment if needed. They are very upfront on their costs and always provide an itemized list of everything, as well as the "worst case scenarios". Overall, I feel well taken care of and really love that we found this place.

  I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff at VCA orangevalle. I've been coming here for years with my dog Bella aka Bouba. She lived a very long life with the many thanks to them as she had been diagnosed with cancer and the loving care that they gave her and all the time spent really made a difference in my world and hers. I never have to wait the staff is excellent the people are compassionate and truly truly treat you like family. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for the most compassionate loving knowledgeable and efficient veterinary staff that will always put your pets needs first.

  Our first experience at VCA Received a well puppy visit after an adoption. The clinic is clean and organized and human friendly with human treats as well. Front desk staff was amazing Vet Tech thorough and friendly Dr. Neri was thorough, kind and gentle. We look forward to follow up visits.

  I mean we couldn’t say ENOUGH great things about this place the people working here are just ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!! I believe they are the best vet in the area ! you get WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!! they are SO GOOD at what they do and know how to handle every type of pets attitude I mean they exceeded our expectations my dog has server anxiety with vets it causes us to not be able to treat him well not this time DR.birdsall experienced in the vet field for over 45 years showed me there is hope in the world for my pitty ❤️ thank you to Stephanie for your care & hard work it definitely didn’t go unnoticed making this place my primary vet 😊 !!

  Had a bit of an issue with my 17 year old cat, saw VCA offers a free exam so I brought her in and had a great experience. Minimal wait time, thorough exam, careful staff. I was concerned it would be a low quality exam or have hidden fees but neither seemed to be the case. Unfortunately I have to take a star away after some research, the treatment plans offered are nearly double the cost of other local vets. I understand the need to recoup the cost of the free exam, and I was willing to pay a little more, but the difference is too much. Unfortunately I have to remove another star as I took my cat for a second opinion and found that VCA had missed impacted anal glands and my cat was treated for about $150 bucks instead of the $700 blood tests VCA wanted. Normally this would be an instant 1 star, however Sacramento Cat Hospital said my cats anal glands were a bit deeper than usual, and they could kind of understand how it was missed. In conclusion, everyone should take the free exam, but everyone should also get a second opinion somewhere else.
