Very disappointed with the customer service at Best Buy Whitby. We went to the store to buy a laptop and asked for assistance. We waited for about 30 minutes, and every time we asked for help, we were told that someone would come, but no one ever did.
We eventually went to the customer service desk to ask for help, and finally someone there assisted us. However, the long wait and lack of support on the sales floor made for a very frustrating experience.
Customers shouldn’t have to wait that long, especially when they are ready to make a purchase. I hope the store improves its customer service and provides better support to future customers.

Great staff, very accommodating. Give good promotions in order to work for the customer rather than the corporation ❤️. Also processed returns unlike Ajax.

Went to Best Buy on June 9 around 1:30 p.m. to drop off a prepaid Amazon return that weighed less than 20 grams. I had the QR code ready, but they refused to scan it and told me I needed a physical printout. Then they said they couldn’t print it either.
The worst part? The store looked almost empty, while there were around 20 employees standing around, chatting, laughing, and doing absolutely nothing useful. Geek Squad and customer service both had staff available, but somehow a simple prepaid return became impossible.
I was actually considering buying a $300–$400 portable AC from Best Buy that day, but after that useless experience, I left and bought it somewhere else. Best Buy lost a sale because their staff couldn’t be bothered to help with the most basic customer service task.
Terrible process, lazy service, and zero common sense. Never coming back to this location.
