    I had an EXCELLENT customer service experience today at the Fairview Mall Apple Store. My Macbook Pro had not been used for several months and didn't want to wake up. I was afraid she may have gone to sleep permanently or required some kind of expensive organ transplant. It is definitely out of warranty. I feared the worst... I was immediately greeted by the Manager of the store who brought me over to one of the team members. They brought over a power adapter and started to administer first aid. I thought some chest compressions or the Heimlich Maneuver might do the trick but the patient was still flat lining. My salesperson hit a few buttons on his phone and one of the Geniuses came over and tried a few things. The patient wasn't responding so he asked if he could make an appointment for me for some exploratory surgery. My first thought was that I would have to wait for a month. Low and behold, I only had to wait for 20 minutes while I watched a nice, live, presentation on the new iOS 26. It is very impressive. Jason, my new hero, came over from the back, introduced himself and assured me that he would be gentle and that he would treat my baby as if it was his own (I double checked and asked him if he liked his babies - he said yes). He also asked me about how recent my backups were etc. After 15 minutes or so, Jason returned from the back with my baby in hand. It was wide awake and smiling! Jason explained that it was in a deep sleep and was immediately revived when he hooked it up to his something or other (it sounded impressive). Apparently, they will sometimes go into a deep sleep mode if they haven't been used for a lengthy period of time and the battery is extremely low. My Macbook Pro is now back at home on my desk and doing well. Dr. Jason is my new hero!!! This was an EXCELLENT customer service experience!

    The sales team at this store is fine, but the after-sales tech support is terrible. I met a “tech” in the store who was clearly not trained well. First, as a technician, he only knew how to use Apple’s diagnostic tools and had no professional knowledge about phones. He had no idea how iPhone hotspots work and didn’t even know what DNS means, so I had to explain it to him myself. Second, I encountered a technical issue after updating to iOS 26.4. I could no longer play Pokémon properly using my hotspot. The first thing he told me was, “Do you mind just not playing this game?” LMAO. Third, I showed him posts on the Apple Community support where other iOS users were experiencing the same problem as me. He didn’t care and reset my internet settings without telling me, even though I had already told him it would not work. Fourth, he wasted a lot of my time and wanted me to blame Rogers instead. He said the only thing he could do was wipe all the information from my phone, and he could not guarantee the issue would be fixed. The second option was that he would write a letter for me to bring to the Rogers store so they could check their side. I still haven’t received that letter even after 10 hours. Thank you for wasting my time. Samsung has better technology than you. I am a 17 Pro Max user, but I will buy a Samsung phone next time. Samsung No.1!!!

    I’d like to sincerely thank Amsha and Jay for delivering an exceptional Apple Vision Pro experience. I was curious about the Apple Vision Pro, and Jay made the process incredibly seamless, he arranged a demo for me within minutes, which I truly appreciated. Amsha conducted the 30-minute demo with professionalism and patience, taking the time to clearly explain each step and ensure I was comfortable throughout the experience. Overall, the entire process was smooth, efficient, and very well organized. Both Jay and Amsha went above and beyond to create a welcoming and informative environment, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Thank you both again for such a great experience. David

    Very disappointed with the customer service at this store. I came in because my Mac is not working and I was considering buying a new MacBook. I was looking for a staff member to introduce the available models and explain the differences, but the employee stood there chatting with a coworker instead of assisting me. I felt ignored as a customer. As a representative of Apple, I expected a much higher standard of professionalism and service. This kind of poor customer service does not reflect well on Apple’s reputation and made for a very frustrating experience.

    Today My sister went there very upset about buying a more than $100 case that broke in less than 3 month. The first person, a girl, tried to help her, but she was even more upset when she said no, we can't do anything about the warranty. Finally, a young man named👌*< Mahbod>* 👌helped my sister with a very polite and pleasant demeanor and explained things to her well. Finally, even though the case wasn't replaced, we left the store happily. We call this customer service, which the guy 👍Mahbod👍 knew, but unfortunately the girl, whose name we didn't even ask, didn't. The girl looked at my sister, who doesn't speak English well, with such contempt and runtly eyes that it seemed like she had made a big mistake to go and complne and was behaving very badly.
