    I had an issue with an online order that arrived damaged, and Asvenya and Harshitta were both very patient and helpful throughout the process. They listened carefully, explained the store policy clearly, and tried their best to help me find a solution. I especially want to thank Harshitta for being so kind, understanding, and proactive in helping me resolve the situation. Even though the issue itself was frustrating, their customer service made the experience much better. I really appreciate their patience and support.

    I had an awful experience today while doing a return. I open the receipt on my phone to have it ready and without asking me the cashier reached over and grab my phone without asking and just proceed. Never have I ever did an online return and didn’t have a sales associate ask to see the receipt or ASK me for my phone, this girl just grab my phone, did no one teach her basic manners? When The card reader said return was decline but it printed out a receipt which can still happen. When I told her about it she said “ why would it be decline if it print out a receipt??” she was just rude and dismissive, I don’t know if she was having a bad day or if this is just a everyday thing.

    Idk which one fills online orders, but. They lie about shipping so add time to the full of crap estimate they give you. "As early as tomorrow" means a week from the day you bought it. With half of it in processing then ships ground. Ground shipping will not get there by tomorrow with any order. Dishonest ads is a crappy practice when people rely on delivery information to help decide what they want to purchase. This is why sometimes its best to stick with Amazon.

    This review is for the Best Buy at Scarborough Town Centre Location on Progress Avenue. This was one of the most disappointing retail experiences I’ve had, especially because this used to be my go to Best Buy location for years. I used to enjoy shopping here because the staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, over the past few years, it feels like all the good staff have left, and the customer service has seriously declined. I came in on Saturday, June 27, 2026 between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., fully prepared to buy an iPad. I had already done my research and found the exact same model on sale at Walmart, both online and on their flyer, and simply wanted to request a price match. Instead of getting straightforward help, I was met with confusion, dismissive attitudes, and inconsistent information. The first employee seemed uninterested and began looking at third party listings that were actually more expensive than the regular retail price, which made no sense. I was then directed to the Apple representative, who gave vague explanations about “new policies” that supposedly prevented the price match and affected student discounts. None of it added up, especially since I’ve purchased Apple products before using the Apple student discount without any issues. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I had just watched South Asian customers ahead of me receive price matches and leave happy, while my own experience was completely different. They were helped quickly and smoothly, while I was met with hesitation, vague policy explanations, and refusal. As someone who was polite and respectful the entire time, the difference in treatment was noticeable and left me feeling unfairly treated. On top of that, there were multiple staff members standing around talking, gossiping, and on their phones instead of helping customers, which looked incredibly unprofessional. The most frustrating part is that this was a guaranteed sale. Best Buy lost a loyal customer that day. Within five to ten minutes of leaving, I went directly to the Apple Store, explained the exact same situation, and everything was sorted out immediately. I bought the exact same iPad, got an even better deal using the Apple student discount, and had zero issues. The Apple Store staff were helpful, professional, and even contradicted the “new policies” I was told at Best Buy. That confirmed for me that the problem was never the product, the price, or the discount. The problem was the service. I used to be a loyal Best Buy customer, but after this experience, I will no longer be supporting Best Buy. Their prices are often marked up anyway, and you can usually find the same products for better or similar prices at Amazon, Costco, or other retailers. It’s disappointing to see how far this location has fallen. Management seriously needs to review staff behaviour and improve accountability because this level of customer service is unacceptable. 😡

    0 star. The lady in the pickup office is unprofessional. She was very rude angry and rude. I was about to buy Insta 360 X5 and she kept interrupting me asking me to wait many times. She asked me how would I like to pay so i asked here about the price after that she stated looking for the price which didn’t make sense, how can I pay if you don’t let me know how much is it? I also asked her about the offer coming with the camera which is 256 gb SD memory card she asked me to go to bring it from the isle. Since it’s her job not mine I brought the wrong one which it wasn’t included in the offer, then she went and brought it. I asked her about the price she said it’s $882 which is not correct because I checked the offer online and it was 799 for the camera which and half price for the memory which is $50 the so it should be $770 when I tried to correct that she stopped me and checked out the price on the system but didn’t work so she called someone to help her. It took a long time so I left to another location. Problems happen, but you should be respectful and polite specially when you don’t have the correct information. You can’t ask me to pay unless you give me the price and also you can’t ask me to hold on if you gave me wrong details, and by the way you can’t ask the customers to go grab the items by themselves.
