Yesterday I went to Best Buy at high tech to exchange my DJI 7p gamble to an DJi 8 gamble but I did not have the package of my product. However my product was neatly stored in a safe box special for the DJI gambles. I was stressed that they won't accept an exchange specially that I did exchange the same product before I thought it's software was bugged and it was making confusing movements because I pressed so many buttons on the gamble. Stacy Kovalchuk who was working in a different department re-assured me and actually got me to the costumer service for them to help me and they did help me alot as they made an exception because it did not have its original product box. important to have for exchanges ans returns. But thanks to Stacy's efforts and the wonderful professional efforts of the mangers on duty at costumer service and cash registers I was able to exchange that gamble for a higher model the 8 model for $107 more which was fantastic. Stacy Kovalchuk was very courteous, helpful and very professional in handling my concern; I appreciate her sincerity in helping a costumer which is a true hallmark of saleswomen ship (helping people for the love of helping people not for anything else) I also want to sincerley thank the managers who were present at the costumer service and cash to allow the transaction to go through. It is an amazing Best Buy store. My home best buys store from which I bought my Samsung watch and my HP computer snd my apple Ipod in the past. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

I live in Scarborough and normally shop at my local Best Buy but I was in the area for other errands so I decided to pick up a TV I had my eye on here because I saw online they had it as well. I entered the store and no one was at the main entrance which was odd to me because someone always greets me at the Scarborough store and helps guide me to the area of the store I need. I went to the TV section myself and was browsing before looking for my model. A staff member wearing glasses in the TV section reached out and offered assistance which I greatly appreciated. I showed him the listing and he took me to the display model and let me take a look and said he'd be nearby to offer any help as needed. He later ended up finding the model in storage and brought it out for me and helped complete the transaction directly in the TV area. Great experience with him start to finish.
The reason I am writing this review is because while I was left alone to examine the floor model, there was a group of 3-4 staff members in blue shirts about 3 metres from me at the end of the aisle talking amongst each other. Yes that's totally fine and the store was not busy at all so I don't care but in their private dialogue they kept openly using curse words which made me uncomfortable considering they're on the clock and in uniform. Customers are not eavesdropping but we are also not deaf. Working 15 years in customer service myself, there is a line between public facing personal and private conversation and a reasonable filter should be applied when in front of customers. I originally was just going to ask one of them to help me find the boxed version of the floor model but hearing them curse and in conversation made me hesitant to interrupt them; I went back to find the original staff member and waited until he was done with another customer for him to help me again.

I stopped by to return an online order that had just been delivered. The experience at customer service was surprisingly poor.
When I approached the counter and said hello, I wasn't greeted or acknowledged beyond a head nod. It immediately felt awkward, as though basic customer service was missing.
The representative began processing my return, but repeatedly stopped in the middle of helping me to assist another employee with a separate issue. There was no "excuse me," no apology, and no explanation. I was simply left standing there while she walked away multiple times.
What made it more frustrating was that the other employee wasn't assisting customers at the time and appeared to be asking questions about the register or system. After the second interruption, I politely asked if they could finish my transaction first and then continue with the training or troubleshooting. Instead of acknowledging the concern, I was met with a stare and a dismissive reaction, as though I was being unreasonable for wanting my transaction completed.
The return was eventually processed, but the overall experience felt unprofessional and discourteous. I understand that training has to happen, but customers shouldn't feel ignored or repeatedly interrupted during a simple return.
My experience with this Best Buy location was very disappointing.
I purchased an ASUS laptop along with a protection plan because I expected support if any issues occurred. Unfortunately, the laptop developed so delaying and freezing even sometimes when nothing was running, RAM and CPU related problems . You are told that if anything goes wrong, whether it is damage or technical issues, the protection will cover you, including repair, replacement, or refund in a very simple and fast process.
The customer service desk staff were polite and helpful, and I appreciate their professionalism. However, my experience with the Geek Squad representative and the manager was not satisfactory. I felt my concerns were not properly addressed, and instead of helping resolve the issue under the protection plan, I was directed to ASUS service.
I also did not feel confident in the technical handling of my case, as it seemed the issue was not properly understood or investigated.
Overall, this experience left me frustrated and disappointed. I expected a much higher level of service from Best Buy, especially when purchasing a protection plan. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to be cautious when relying on best buy or this location for after sales support.
