    Half the people in there don’t know how to do their jobs and are lost. Not great when you need help. The warranty on products is also useless since you’ll still need to pay a deductible on top of the warranty fee + the product full price.

    Here we are. After reading 20 plus reviews I figured that we are not alone to extremely disappointed with their customers service. Best buy owner replied every one that they are proud of their customer service but you guys can check on reviews that their customers service is the biggest joke. We are the loyal customer with best buy for 9 years. But this location damaged all reputation. NEVER BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY, it won't helpful at all. My homie personally had very bad experience over a refrigerator within 2 years. This location don't follow any standard policies guided by manufacturer. I kindly request to all future customers that PLEASE read reviews about their after sales services before any purchase. DONT REPEAT my mistakes.

    Bought a Samsung refrigerator just over 2 years ago with extended warranty, and it malfunctioned, causing water damage in my new home. A technician confirmed the ice maker is defective, and Samsung technical support team even suggested replacement of entire unit is the standard fix. However, Best Buy/Geek Squad insists on repairing it repeatedly instead of replacing it, offering no assurance despite the risk to my property. The extended warranty has been disappointing and hasn’t provided the peace of mind I expected. This👇🏻is the comment from Samsung technical support team when I asked them to explain how defective/broken ice maker leads to water leak and Best Buy technician said he’s gone order new ice maker to replace. “ How the Ice Maker Works The ice maker is supplied by a dedicated water line. When it cycles, a valve opens to let waterflow into the ice tray. Sensors and mechanical parts control when water stops and when ice is released. How Breakage Leads to Leaks Cracked or misaligned ice tray → Water spills instead of freezing properly. Faulty fill valve or sensor → Too much water enters, overflowing into the freezer compartment. Damaged tubing or connections → Water drips behind or underneath the ice maker. Broken ejector mechanism → Ice doesn't clear, blocking the tray and causing water to overflow. V Why the Technician Ordered a Replacement Since the ice maker is a sealed assembly with multiple moving parts, once it's broken it can't reliably control water flow. That's why replacing the entire unit is the standard fix - it ensures the water line, tray, and sensors are all working correctly again.”

    I went to Geek Squad at Best Buy because I needed access to a laptop for a few minutes to download a Wi-Fi driver onto a USB. I already knew exactly what the issue was and how to fix it—I just didn’t have another device available. The employee I spoke with was dismissive and didn’t listen to what I was explaining. I repeated myself several times, but he kept pushing pricing ($45 for 15 minutes or up to $200) and a paid service I didn’t need, instead of acknowledging my actual request. The way the situation was handled and how he spoke to me felt like I was being talked over and not taken seriously. The interaction became very frustrating and overwhelming, and I was close to tears due to how it was handled. I ended up picking up my laptop and leaving. I borrowed a friend’s laptop afterward and fixed the issue myself in about 10 minutes. What should have been a simple request turned into a stressful and unnecessarily difficult experience. Basic customer service and actually listening to the customer would have made a big difference.

    Please have the 6 or so people who follow me bathe before serving the public. I did buy a pretty great tv for my birthday back in January. Today I purchased nothing, not only was being followed by 6 people insulting half of them smelled like body odor which was quite offensive on its own.
