    My Macbook Pro was dead and as I'm visiting Ottawa for business this was a huge pain. Like seriously D.E.A.D. The team greeted me wonderfully and within 4 minutes I was with a technician and within 10 minutes the absolute legend that is John had resurrected the machine to perfection. I really can't thank you enough for your kindness and professional service. You saved the day and the trip!

    I had no appointment and just walk-in to buy a new iPad and exchange my old one. I received amazing service by Shavan who took the time to help me transferring everything from one iPad to the other. He was very patient, polite and professional. Thank you!

    It was a very sad day because my five year-old iPad that I rely on daily just went blank. It was just a black screen, although I can faintly see the apps in the background. I was unable to use it so I went to the Apple Store and booked an appointment with a tech. Andrew was the person assigned to my case, and he was wonderful. With a flashlight, he was able to faintly see the background and conclude that the backlight of my device was burnt out and gone. He explained to me that replacing the black light would cost me roughly the same as purchasing a new iPad, and the new iPad had four times more storage. I found out that a new device that had four times more storage so I decided to purchase one. It only cost me $500 plus tax 575 and that was close to what I paid for my older iPad five years ago. With the help of Andrew, I was able to get all my information transferred from my old device to the new one. This was not an easy task because remember, the screen was black, but Andrew did it with his flashlight. At some point, I did not remember my Apple ID and password but Andrew help me figure it out to researching my device. The process took almost 2 hours and a half and never once did he lose his patience with me. He didn’t leave me hanging either. He completed everything until he made sure that I was absolutely comfortable and that everything was working fine. I was really impressed by his services that I had to complement him to Andrea the manager of the store. In fact, as an older woman, who’s not from the Apple generation, I always felt intimidated walking in the Apple Store, but the last few times I have, my experiences were always wonderful. The young people who work there never make me feel stupid or uncomfortable. They are always welcoming. They are very approachable and friendly. And most of all, they do not work on commission so they don’t pressure you to buy expensive devices. They help you make the best decision for you. I highly recommend this store and from now on I will not be intimated to walk in. Thank you, Andrew for helping me during this difficult transition of losing my old iPad and purchasing a new one. Change is difficult for me, but you made it easy and most of all you did it with kindness and patience.

    Just left this Apple Store and honestly, the service was disappointing. The only reason I came to this location was because it was the only one with open availability, even after coworkers warned me not to go.I brought my MacBook in because it wasn’t updating. The employee came around asking everyone if they had appointments except for me. Then one staff member claimed he was the only person there with MacBook knowledge and told me my laptop needed multiple updates. That was misleading. My MacBook is an older model, so there are certain updates it simply cannot accept. In the end, I lost time for something I could’ve done at home myself. Also, you would think this massive store would have multiple employees helping others no they don’t.

    I had an appointment at the Apple Store scheduled for 5:20 PM and the experience was extremely disappointing. I wasn’t even acknowledged when I arrived—I had to actively look for someone to assist me, only to be told to wait. Meanwhile, several employees were clearly available, standing around chatting about personal topics like nails and lunch instead of helping customers. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was finally seen by a representative who showed little to no interest in actually helping. I came in with a legitimate concern: my phone, which is only 4 months old, has been overheating for days. I had already run diagnostics myself, which they also have access to, yet the employee appeared to go through the motions rather than genuinely investigate the issue. The outcome? I was essentially told that if something is wrong, they would attempt to fix it—not replace it—and that I should come back if the problem continues. No real troubleshooting, no sense of urgency, and no effort to provide reassurance or a proper solution. I’ve been a long-time Apple customer and own multiple products, which makes this experience even more frustrating. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a lack of professionalism and care. I won’t be returning to this location.
