  I had an appointment with Amanda today that I booked last week because my schedule is very busy. Unfortunately, she didn’t see me until about 30 minutes after my appointment time. I was told the appointment would only take around 15 minutes. When she finally came over, she asked me to wait a little longer so she could check my phone. I had no problem with that, but instead of checking it, she spent time talking to two other customers in the store. After all that waiting, she simply told me that it’s “normal” for a phone battery to expand after only five months. At that point, I didn’t know what to say. The long wait, poor communication, and lack of attention to my appointment made the experience very disappointing. I expected better service, especially since I had booked my appointment in advance.

  Had probably the best customer service experience of my life here this morning. Ruth is my absolute GOAT. She was exceptionally informative, helpful, and super funny. Not only did she help me out with my new phone but also made an effort to connect with my girlfriend and I. Would highly recommend!

  Bonjour, je vous partage ma récente expérience chez Apple Store Rideau. Nous venons d'acheter pour 4000$ de iPhone... Etonnement, la vendeuse qui m'a été assigné et qui ne parlait pas français, ne m'a jamais proposée d'être servie dans ma langue par un(e) collègue. L'inverse pourrait-il se passer à Montréal? (difficultés à vous faire servir en anglais) j'en doute... A écouter les gens près de moi, j'en conclus qu'une partie significative de leur clientèle est portant francophone... De plus, la vendeuse doit gérer simultanément plusieurs clients à la fois..est-ce vraiment l'idéal? Enfin, impossible de laisser mon ancien iPhone (contre une remise sur l'achat d'un iPhone neuf) et ce, même si je l'avais avec moi. Comme nous avions effectué une commande en ligne, il faut attendre qu'Apple m'envoie une enveloppe de retour!! Impossible de faire autrement... Apple n'est pas un commerçant de quartier mais bien une multinationale engrangeant des profits considérables grâce à la fidélité de ses clients. Peut-on espérer une meilleure expérience client ?

  I had an appointment with a "genius," and he was anything but that. The person couldn't tell the difference between a working port and their own thumb. I will never ask for help from this store again. They have no business wasting so much of my time. I hated the experience and the cowardice of the employee who tricked me. Stay clear from this pathetic excuse of a genius if you can. You know who you are.

  I had an exceptional experience at the Apple Store in Rideau Centre. I was dealing with a complicated AppleCare replacement issue involving a U.S. model iPhone while living in Canada. Before visiting the store, I had already spent considerable time working with AppleCare in the United States, but unfortunately my issue remained unresolved. When I arrived at the Rideau Centre location, Mikala took the time to understand the situation in detail. Rather than simply repeating what had already been done, she carefully reviewed the case, explored the available options, and found a solution that nobody else had been able to provide. Thanks to her professionalism, knowledge, and determination, my issue was successfully resolved in Canada without requiring a trip to the United States. What had been a frustrating experience quickly turned into a positive one because she genuinely cared about finding the right outcome. Mikala’s customer service was outstanding, and her willingness to go the extra mile made a significant difference. Thank you for turning a difficult situation into a successful resolution. Apple is fortunate to have employees like Mikala representing the company.
