I know this because made contact with a person from starlink and they said its not connected to their test facility. Very disappointed as im at work in bear country 100km from nearest known civilization and relied on internet for emergencies. Meanwhile 3 bear attacks in the area while i had no internet. Best buy there better make this right.

Waste of an hour, they basically tried to scam me into a 20/mo contract for a year and force me to decide ASAP. "ONLY FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS, I'LL TAKE OFF 20 FROM THE $500 REPAIR FEE!!" Charging for parts, to not delete all my data, for labour, for software, for shipping (keep in mind, all I needed was a fan replaced/cleaned). They didn't even let me record the price info they scribbled onto paper, because it's "confidential internal info." Because wanted me to pay right now. Me: i'll come back when I decide Them: ok so today you'll pay $20 less They don't even do repairs there, they were planning to ship my computer off to a third party!!
