  My 99-year-old aunt in Oceanside CA needed to purchase a TV and did so at the local Best Buy. The TV came with set/up & installation. Be advised that "set-up and installation" involved unboxing, putting on the legs and then plugging in the cable box. For most of us, that would have been sufficient. But consider a 99-year-old woman trying to make it all show a picture via her cable box! Best Buy delivery guy said, he did all he does. THANKS! Now I'm paying nearly $180 more to get someone else to go there next week to do what the delivery guy could have likely done in just a few minutes.....This is IRRITATING to say the least. Not my first bad experience with Best Buy but I can assure you, it is my last since I won't be shopping there ever again. 1m Reply

  Absolutely horrific customer service! We bought an Open box refrigerator only to have it completely destroyed during shipping. Apparently, although we live 4 miles from the store they sent it to Ontario, then Phoenix and finally to Poway before delivery. “ customer service “ was absolutely awful, the people at the call center are obviously not interested in either customers or service. Went to the San Marcos store where I was helped by the staff who gave me the same deal on their floor model which was actually listed higher. What are the chances they screw this up twice in a row right? Well, with the delivery window of 8:30-11:30 get an email, not a call, an email saying the delivery was canceled and a refund was being issued. The email gave a number to call “customer service” for any question. After being on hold and being disconnected twice finally called the warehouse in Poway to find out the unit had once again been damaged during shipping. Went back to the store t see what they could do to help us. Long story short nothing. They didn’t want to give us any break at all on a new unit because they were already on “special” they certainly weren’t going to go out of their way to get it delivered any quicker. They did say once we purchased the new one they “may” be able to get us a credit for our inconvenience. Two days of taking everything out of our current refrigerator and putting it into coolers, two days of making arrangements to be available for delivery only to have them completely drop the ball and they just don’t care. Stay away from Best Buy! They don’t care about or deserve you as a customer!

  I mean ... It's just a fun place with lots of toys and gadgets. I walking in looking for a replacement power cord (which I actually ended up getting off Amazon at a much better price) but instead walked out with a new all-in-one touchscreen desktop. I ought to be mad, but I got a good early Black Friday deal, and I'm really glad I have it. Thanks to the guy who didn't let up, I guess. 😂

  Car stereo installers were professional and easy to talk to. Install looked nice and clean. Will go back for a sub install

  I just want to share how happy I was with my recent experience at this location of Best Buy. I'd been chewing on getting a new computer for a bit, as mine was and old wimp. Ian approached me as I was trying to decide between two good machines, but led me in a third direction that I didn't expect, but I came to be really happy with his suggestions, especially after the purchase. If this was a weekend spiff, good on management for offering it and good on Ian for recommending it. If not, even better for Ian for leading me to machine that has more than passed my expectations. It cost even a little less than one of the machines I was looking at, but he showed me how it could align better with my interests. After some small buyer's remorse (I'm an anorexic spender) I came to find out I love the machine that Ian recommended! It surpasses my expectations in every way. Ian is an excellent salesman because he listens to what the client actually wants and steers him to that. I even bought a monitor, not because I needed one, but because I was already spending a bit, I said to myself "Why not?" while Ian gently led me the whole way. He has a way of making someone determined to make a purchase, actually make a purchase without feeling pressure. I think his way is what you should be looking for in a salesman, or even a manager. Thanks Ian, (hope I've been spelling it correctly!)! I endorse this location, and I especially endorse Ian. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
