This particular location is "the very best" Best Buy store in San Diego county! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable. They are almost always able to quickly diagnose or delegate your issue.
On one of my last visits to this location, I brought in an old Dell laptop that wouldn't boot up. I paid over $2,000 for it about 6 years ago. Incidentally, I believe it to be the thickest and heaviest laptop made within the last 6 years! So, I'm fairly confident that I overpaid for what should have been used as a gaming PC! But homey don't game!
Bottom line: the Geek Squad tech was fairly confident that it was a bad motherboard, but referred me to a local computer-repair company to have it properly diagnosed.
In actuality, it was only one bad RAM stick and a computer that only charges up when it is turned off! For $200, I was able to successfuly recover this brick into my backup laptop!

The worst company in history. It's a mental illness. The shipment may arrive or it may not. They give you reasons like the address is incorrect. I've sent it several times, and I'm still waiting. A week has passed, and every day it's the same thing: my order hasn't arrived. They use artificial intelligence most of the time to talk to customers. Isn't there a phone to talk to the employees? Doesn't this company have any customer service centers? They love to torture customers. I don't recommend this company. It's

I tried to call the Oceanside Best Buy because I want a new phone. I wanted to talk to someone on the floor or a Geek Squad member. First a poorly trained bot held me for 9 minutes getting nothing accomplished, then passed me to a virtual call center in some other country. Really annoyed me. All I wanted was to talk with someone in the store.
