I had an extremely frustrating experience with Best Buy this week. I was repeatedly given incorrect information by multiple agents about a TV I purchased, the return process, and a promised discount. I was told the Samsung TV had a digital audio port—it did not. I was told a pickup would be scheduled—no one ever came. I was told the discount would apply—it didn’t. I ended up returning two TVs to the store myself because the replacement Sony they sent was clearly a returned item. Every agent gave me a different story, and none of it was accurate. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with Best Buy, and I can no longer trust their service.

My trip there was smooth- wanted a laptop with a good price which I got and works perfect. The staff was helpful and would ask you if you needed at help. The prices there are fire- from cheap to expensive.

Walked in to purchase a TV. Asked the staff 3 times to come help me. They pretended to call someone to help me but no one bothered to come. Everyone was hanging out at the exit door talking. The store products are set up nice, but didn't get any help. Try another store.

I’ve been a Best Buy customer for years, but this experience completely changed my view of the company.
Best Buy hides behind confusing and inconsistently applied return policies, then stonewalls customers when issues arise. I was bounced between store staff, corporate support, and “executive resolution” with no one taking real ownership or offering a reasonable solution. Each interaction felt scripted, dismissive, and designed to exhaust the customer rather than help them.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of accountability. Policies are selectively interpreted, explanations change depending on who you speak to, and once they decide to say no, meaningful conversation stops. Escalations lead nowhere. Transparency and basic customer respect are clearly not priorities.
For a company of this size, the customer care experience is shockingly poor. If something goes wrong with your purchase, be prepared for a long, frustrating process with little to no resolution.
I would strongly caution anyone buying higher priced items here. Once Best Buy has your money, you are largely on your own.
