  Very disappointed with our experience at the Apple Store in Halifax. We booked a free Vision Pro session, but when we arrived, we were told there was no session or staff available to arrange it. We also found the staff’s behaviour quite rude and unhelpful. We wasted around 30 minutes for nothing. Really frustrating experience, especially after making a booking. Mine one time booking also wasted.

  The assistant who delivered my iPhone was very nice, friendly, and communicative, and I really appreciated her help. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff at the other part of the store was completely different. She directed me there to have the screen protector I purchased for my new iPhone applied, but the two employees there were extremely unfriendly and, at times, rude. They barely acknowledged me or responded when I tried to speak with them. At one point, one of them asked his colleague if he could help me, and the colleague didn’t even respond to him. I found this very unprofessional and uncomfortable. It was a disappointing experience, and I ended up leaving without getting the service.

  Bad business Apple. We ordered two iPhone 16s online and made appointments to pick them up in store a couple of hours later. We drove almost two hours to get there, only to be told there were delays processing orders because the preorders for the iPhone 18 came out today, so they couldn’t help us until it was processed. We couldn’t even cancel until it was processed, so basically, they tied up all of our money with no idea on how long it would take to process the order. We left with no products.

  Staff were friendly but the process is so long. Two hours and counting and still waiting at this so called “Genius Bar”. Got an appointment at 5:39pm, received a text to come back at 6:33 and here I am still waiting at 19:11. Update: SONIA from Genius bar. I approached her and told her my situation. She was very friendly and assisted me very well. She went above and beyond. Updated my star rating from 1 star to 3 star for the store but for Sonia 10 stars.

  I wish they had been more transparent about the promotions and terms. When I did my phone trade-in, I was told I would receive cash back, but when I went back to claim it, I was told it could only be issued as a gift card. This was never mentioned upfront. I was also told that the Belkin screen protector came with free replacement. However, I later found out that I had to order the replacement through Bell’s website and pay the shipping fee myself. So technically, it wasn’t completely free. I really don’t appreciate finding out important details only after the purchase. The terms should be clearly explained upfront instead of leaving customers to discover them later.
