- GBGene BJul 13, 20255.0Purchased a new laptop from Best Buy on Thursday July 10. I believe I got home and got it all set up. I do daytrading I need to do to run a specific app. It did not work with the app. I called the geek squad. They connected me with India for four hours and the geek squad rep in India told me that there was something wrong with the app. It wasn't the laptop which I wasn't buying so I went back to the store and explain what was going on to the girl that helped me there in the order in store after she ran her test. She says the laptop is more designed for graphics than for what I need it for not the laptop is a bad laptop is just not for what I was using it for so she recommended a laptop gave me three options and I chose one and it was $385 less than the one that I bought which allowed me money to buy a new printer and still have $150 left over so therefore I'm a happy camper and I would not be a happy camper one for that person in the geek squad at the Porter store and I wish I knew her name five stars zero stars for India. And the laptop worked perfect when I got home 🙃

I asked if I could have my other computer fixed from home, has a physical problem, and he said it doesn't matter where you bought it as long as you have total tech. So I did. Now, a month later, they're saying that its not covered by the plan. And that it only covers any device you buy after total tech which is very confusing and misleading. Very disappointed. We seeked helped and he only suggested to call tech support or nothing.
