  Though not many people around, the staff can't help us that have filled up the order on the iPad we want and just have a question on trade-in. Since when do Apple stores no longer have acceptable services?

  I had a very disappointing experience at the Apple Store - Fashion Island. The customer service was extremely poor. Both the manager and the staff member assisting us were rude and unprofessional. We went there ready to purchase two iPhone 17 Pro devices, but the way we were treated completely changed our decision. Instead of taking the time to answer our questions and help us properly, they rushed us and made us feel like we were bothering them. It honestly felt like they just wanted to push us out rather than assist us. Because of this behavior, we decided not to complete the purchase. For a company that promotes premium products and high-level customer care, this experience was far below expectations. Very disappointing.

  Went in for Apple Care warranty replacement. The rep told me that if I needed the whole phone to be replaced, you would have to initiate express replacement. That’s fair, but there was no “our bad” type of acknowledgment. When I tried to initiate the express shipping in store the rep said he can’t help me with that. When security delay kicked in, I talked to him about how inconvenient that is, and he said you can turn it off in the setting, and nothing else, not even a help or a more insightful information about it. I found it very unhelpful, and downright very un-apple like. Would I come back here? Probably not.

  I recently visited the Apple Store at Fashion Island Newport Beach to buy my girlfriend a new iPhone 17 Pro for her birthday. She was very excited to upgrade from her iPhone 15 to the 17 Pro, and the purchase itself went smoothly. After receiving the phone, we asked for help setting it up and migrating her data and settings to the new device. We interacted with three different associates during this process. Two of them were helpful, patient, and kind, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the third associate—my girlfriend remembers his name as Carl—made the experience uncomfortable. He was unfriendly, had a poor attitude, and seemed unwilling to help. When my girlfriend asked questions about setting up her phone, he was dismissive and would not even touch the phone to help press anything on the screen. His behavior felt unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable. Because of this interaction, what should have been a happy birthday experience turned into a frustrating one. Overall, the service at this store was inconsistent, and due to this negative experience, I do not recommend visiting this location.
