  Husband purchased an open box tv for himself on his birthday. The delivery was rescheduled 4 times. My husband went in-person to Best Buy Murrieta today to request to pick up the tv himself. After waiting in the store for over an hour today, the store manager told him they will never be able to deliver the tv to him because “it is stuck” at the warehouse forever and the only options are a refund or to purchase the same tv for double the price he paid. What?! So the tv is stuck at the warehouse for eternity for reasons unknown? If shipping is delayed, that’s fine. He just wants his tv. Whether it be next week or next month, that’s would have been fine. Instead they tell him there’s no way it will ever be delivered to him for unknown reasons. They didn’t offer him a similar deal, some store credit, a little gift card? Something? Best Buy is a major corporation this isn’t a mom and pops shop we purchased the tv from. What I think happened is they under priced the tv and are making excuses. They’re probably going to get that tv back and sell it for double. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Shady!! Waste of so much of his time in-store, dealing with the delivery people calling him at 5 and 6 in the morning. This is some shady stuff Best Buy Murrieta .

  I bought a tv here open box deal. They said would be delivered a week later or so. Tv never got delivered so we rescheduled it. It ended up getting rescheduled 4 times. I go back to the store to request a in store pick up. After like a hour I was told that they knew the tv was “stuck” at the warehouse and was told they knew they couldn’t deliver it or bring it back to the store. I was issued a refund but I was extremely pissed off because it was a massive waste of time. I didn’t want the refund I just wanted the tv that I bought. Why even sell the tv if they can’t deliver. Absolutely ridiculous wasted my damn time

  I accidentally showed up before opening. I saw a line outside and I was curious what it was about. While I was in my truck I saw people leaving the store (before it was open) having made purchases. The line outside the store getting a little longer. I walked to the front of the store. And the store opened. The first thing the worker said was “Pokemon is sold out”. So naturally I said “but the store just opened”. He didn’t respond. The sad part was there were kids there with their parents who wanted to buy some pokemon. It’s just a little shady to me.

  I wanted to test out a camera and it was the only one that didnt have a display model. Disappointing. Better to just buy online. Miss the hands on buying experience. The salesperson wanted me to just buy it and then return and pay a restocking fee. Amazon is now a win for me. I wouldnt be surprised if best buy closes down indefinitely one day....sooner than you think.
