  I’m in town for a conference and needed a computer cable. The nearest Best Buy is in Modesto, about 30 minutes away. I searched for Best Buy online and called the listed phone number, but each time I was routed to someone who was clearly not in the local store. The representatives were difficult to understand and unable to connect me with anyone at the actual location. As a result, I had no choice but to drive 30 minutes just to see whether the store had the part I needed. That experience was frustrating and reflected very poor customer service. Update: I’ve changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, solely because of the initial phone experience. I later spoke directly with the Store Manager, Adam Erickson, and he was excellent. He provided his business card with his direct cell phone number and email address and explained that he could personally check product availability or arrange shipping if I ever needed assistance in the future. This is exactly how customer service should be handled.

  Great service from both the Verizon and Samsung team! Big shout out to Mallory, Mckenzie, & Gabriel (sorry if I misspelled names)! These individuals went above and beyond on making our cellphone purchase as easy as possible! They explained the deals, pricing and helped with set up! Mallory made sure to get us the best deal for our needs and best bang for our buck! We would highly recommend this team any day for your cellphone and electronic needs!! Thanks again for going above and beyond! 10 out of 10

  Really great experience here today. I would have to say Carlos, the gentleman whom runs the Meta/ AI glasses area is wonderful. I bought a pair of those glasses today from Macy's. Shortly after , I had stopped at Best Buy for some other gifts for Christmas. It just so happened that the Meta/ AI glasses stand was right in the front of the store. I just walked up to compare prices to see if what I had spent at Macy's was about the same as best buy. I was greeted by Carlos shortly after , where he literally explained everything there is to know about these things to me. Macys was great, but I really regret not purchasing them from Carlos. Carlos was so knowledgeable and wonderful at showing me literally everything there is to know about these glasses. I will definately be back to Best Buy because they have a lot bigger of a selection on these AI glasses. I originally wanted the Matt finish but got glossy. If my son ends up wanting the Matt finished ones, I will return the one I bought from Macy's and purchase them from here. Thanks again for the wonderful service!

  This was my first time really going to best buy or making a large electronic purchase. I called ahead and told them what I was looking for and what my budget was. They put me on a brief hold and came back with options for me, prices, details and how many were leftof each item. I went into store and was greeted by staff immediately. Didn't wander in too far before someone asked me if I needed help and what they could do for me. I explained and someone got on it right away, grabbed what I needed, I paid and they had me pull my car to the front and loaded it up for me. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Awesome. 10/10 experience and the price was better than Amazon AND Walmart plus I got to take it home right then there. Definitely come to this best buy.

  My husband and I visited Best Buy last night looking for a new television, and we had one of the best customer service experiences we have ever had thanks to Brian in the home theater department. From the moment we approached him, he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on helping us find the right fit for our home. What stood out most was how refreshingly non pushy he was. Brian walked us through every option across all price points and clearly explained the differences without ever trying to steer us toward something more expensive. He listened to what we actually needed, answered every question with confidence, and made sure we understood the features and tradeoffs of each model. He never pried or pushed for extra information and respected our budget and preferences completely. We left feeling informed, comfortable with our choice, and confident that we made the right decision because of his guidance. It is rare to find someone in sales who strikes the perfect balance of expertise and honesty, and Brian absolutely did. Best Buy is lucky to have him, and we will absolutely ask for him again in the future. Highly recommend seeking him out if you are shopping for anything in home theater.
