These guys are always so helpful. Im also a Total Care member. So I have 60 days to do a return. This means that if the price goes down within the 60 days then all I have to do is go through the app and they'll refund the difference. That has more than paid for the service, plus I can buy for Christmas while things are on the shelf and not hold out to see if they're going to go on sale.

This was one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I’ve ever had at Best Buy.
I went to the store three separate times just to purchase a phone, mainly because the staff was clearly not knowledgeable about the trade-in process. Each visit, I was given different and sometimes incorrect information, which wasted a huge amount of my time.
What made it even worse was the extremely long in-store pickup wait time. After waiting for a long time, I was eventually told that the phone I ordered was not actually in stock, and instead of providing a solution, I was simply asked to keep waiting. This happened after I had already come to the store multiple times.
The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inefficient inventory management are unacceptable. If the staff is not properly trained on trade-ins or inventory status, customers shouldn’t be the ones paying the price with repeated trips and wasted hours.
I expected much better service from a company as large as Best Buy. This experience has seriously damaged my trust, and I will think twice before shopping here again.

I have been shopping here since I moved to the area 15 years ago. I buy all of my larger electronics like TVs and audio equipment along with appliances here. My experience in the store tonight reminded me why. I purchased a refrigerator 2 months ago and decided to exchange it for a different one. The store handled it with no real questions asked other than making sure it wasn't due to a defect or something. There is a manager in appliances who assisted us a few months ago and assisted the associate that was helping us tonight that in both cases just got things done for us. This is the #1 reason I don't order bigger electronics and appliances online no matter how good the prices are. Being able to just walk into the store and get help like this is the reason I will continue going back to BestBuy and this store near me in Mission Viejo.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had with Best Buy.
I ordered a laptop and a laptop chill mat on December 1 and the delivery photo clearly showed that only the chill mat was delivered. The laptop was missing, but the delivery driver marked both items as delivered.
I contacted Best Buy immediately. At first, customer service told me they would send a replacement, but each replacement order was canceled within minutes without explanation. This happened multiple times.
When I called again on December 4, I was told they couldn’t send a replacement and needed a police report before issuing a refund. I filed a report the same day with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and sent the documentation to Best Buy customer service.
I called again on Friday and Saturday and was told by a manager that they couldn’t ship another laptop, but I could go to the store, buy the same laptop myself, and they would match the original price from December 1 once I called back.
I followed those instructions, bought the laptop from the store, and called back — only to be told by another manager that they would not match the price, would not issue a refund, and that the information I previously received was “incorrect.”
So after doing everything they asked —
✔ reporting the theft
✔ providing a police report
✔ making multiple calls
✔ following the instructions of their own manager
✔ purchasing the laptop again out-of-pocket
Best Buy still refused to replace the missing laptop, issue a refund, or honor the price match they promised.
I have now escalated the issue through my bank because Best Buy left me with no resolution and no accountability.
I have been a loyal customer for years, but this experience has completely eroded my trust. I hope Best Buy improves its policies and training so other customers do not go through what I experienced.
