I came here to buy an ASUS ROG Ally and asked an employee for some help. He simply pointed me to where it was displayed and walked away. After looking at it and deciding we wanted to learn more before making a purchase, we asked the same employee again. He told us they didn't have it in stock, and when I asked about the specifications, he just replied, "It's right there in the description."
I was hoping for a little more assistance, especially since it's an expensive purchase and I wanted some advice before deciding. Instead, I felt like I was bothering him. It seemed like he was more interested in talking with his coworkers than helping customers.
I understand employees can get busy, but a little effort and customer service would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed.

Worse customer service experience EVER!! Went to purchase washer and dryer June 29th, was approached by a sales person who advised us that he didn't work in that department but would get someone for us. After waiting for over 10 mins. we chose to leave only to see 5 sales people including himself standing around together chatting away laughing at something on their phones. Didn't even look up when I loudly said "your store just lost a 1,200+ sale" in front of customer service and other customers. Went to the Brick across Regent Ave. got immediately taken care of and was out the door in less than 20 mins with purchasing both washer/dryer and delivery all set up 🙂
I was in the area and stopped by the Regent Best Buy because I expected the same level of customer service as the James Street location. Unfortunately, my experience was completely different.
I was interested in purchasing some mobile products and needed information before making a decision. However, I couldn’t find a Mobile associate anywhere on the sales floor. The only employee I was able to find was a TV associate. He was friendly, willing to help, and did his best, but because mobile products were not his area of expertise, he could only provide limited information.
As a result, I ended up not purchasing anything from the Mobile department. If a knowledgeable Mobile associate had been available, I likely would have made a purchase that day.
At the James Street location, there are usually plenty of associates available and staff are proactive about helping customers. At Regent, I felt like I had to search for assistance. I didn’t want to wait at Customer Service because the line was quite long.
I only stopped at this location because it was convenient and I didn’t want to drive across the city , but the experience left me disappointed. I would recommend having more associates available on the sales floor, especially in the Mobile department.
Came in to upgrade my mom’s cell phone and had absolutely amazing service from Lovin. He was extremely helpful and explained everything perfectly. He is very kind and provided exceptional customer service. Thank you Lovin, very much appreciated!
Horrible service, I sat in the home audio for 30mins asked 3 employees for help which all told me one would be with me shortly just to see all the employees talking to other employees not doing their jobs.
