  Walked into Best Buy to make a purchase. I knew exactly what I wanted. Stood by the tablets for 15 mins. A few blue shirts walking around. Nobody gave me the time of day. They were busy giggling in the corner about something. So I left. Went to my car. Ordered the exact same tablet from Amazon. Saved 300 bucks. I was fully willing to spend more but I will give Best Buy an extra star for helping me save some money due to their lack of customer service. I try to support the local business, but they make it so hard to do so at times.

  Leanne, the store manager, is an absolute star. I had a terrible experience with an online order for a Razer gaming chair. Delivery updates made no sense, it was marked as undeliverable even though the weather was fine, then somehow got sent all the way to a store in Saskatchewan. I spent a lot of time going back and forth with customer service and honestly got nowhere. No clear answers, no real help. I decided to go into the store and met Leanne. She took ownership immediately, made the right calls, tracked down my package, and arranged to have it shipped to her store so I could pick it up. After all the stress dealing with support, she fixed everything quickly and properly. She went above and beyond and is the only reason this ended on a positive note. Leanne you a real one.

  Last weekend I dropped by this Best Buy to purchase a monitor. To be used as a second monitor for a laptop. I wanted to make sure I had the correct hardware and asked two clerks if the HDMI cable came with the monitor. I was told NO. I was then handed and purchased a $44 cable. Two hours later I opened the box and discovered an HDMI cable. Yes, I didn't need to buy one extra Today schleped myself across town to return that cable and nicely explained to the young lady/manager what happened. Truly, she did not care or offer up an apology. Just an oh well and I need your name and number for the return. Youth is wasted on the young. I'll live. Customer service and training? Not today. I'll survive.
