The team at VCA ASEC is truly one of the best. We were referred to bring our corgi here for care where we met with both Dr. Krause in Internal Medicine and Dr. Downing in Oncology. Both so wonderful, caring, and very kind to us and to our corgi. Everyone from the front desk to the vet techs took really great care of our corgi and of us when we came to visit. Would highly recommend coming here for thoughtful care and honesty when it comes to the health of your beloved animals. So thankful for everyone at VCA ASEC and everything they do!

Having a pet is a very emotional experience. Entering a 24/7 vet facility because your dog is in distress, is unimaginable. From start to finish, this facility is wonderful. Every staff member and especially the doctors were kind and informative. The vets never rushed our appointments. They were there for, and with, us. It's with mixed emotions that I write this review; sad that my fur baby was in need of emergency care, and yet, SO grateful that all of his needs were met in his moments of crisis.

I’d like to thank the staff at this facility for the great customer service and the care given to my pet Mossy. Thank you Dr Waters for your knowledge, insight, and amazing care. Everyone that we encountered was just a gem.

Twice I had a very frustrating experience at VCA Animal Hospitals in their emergency room.
When I checked in, I was told the wait time would be approximately two hours. While I understand that emergency veterinary clinics can be busy and that critical cases must be prioritized, I appreciated at least having an estimated timeframe. However, after waiting for three hours, I was then informed that the wait would be another three hours on top of that.
The lack of accurate communication and care was extremely disappointing. VCA should work on honest communication.
VCA has a habit of auto reply or AI reply to show other viewers that they care but they simply don’t.

Save yourself the time and take your fur baby somewhere else. I brought my 4 month old puppy in at 4am with dehydration because he had been throwing up and having diarrhea all night. There were no other customers there and they left us in the holding room for 2 hours and no sign of the vet! I had to go up to the front desk to ask her how much longer it was going to take and the lady didn't even know that we were still in the holding room. She went to the back to find out an ETA and came back to tell me that a technician would come get my dog's vitals "soon" (we had been there for 2 hours already!). I walked out and scheduled a visit with my actual vet since by that time they were opening soon. There is no point in seeking emergency vet care here when they operate at a snail's pace and clearly do not care about the well-being of the animals. Very disappointed!
