Absolutely obsessed with this facility. My reactive dog—who is scared of everyone and everything and can be a bit defensive—has had nothing but positive experiences here. Dr. Molly Boyker and Dr. Cooper Hasselbrink have interacted with her compassionately and respectfully, and they’ve even touched her when necessary with incredible care and gentle hands. When my dog needed a TPLO surgery, Dr. Cooper recommended a wonderful facility in Tustin. I was incredibly happy with the referral, and we got in quickly, which was a huge relief during a stressful time. I love that I can usually get an appointment when I feel something is off with Pepper, sometimes even the same day. The staff consistently goes above and beyond, and I’ve recommended many friends and neighbors here. A special shout-out to Dr. Boyker: she consistently understands Pepper’s sensitive tummy issues and chronic pancreatitis. She’s helped us figure out a practical, well-balanced food schedule that keeps Pepper comfortable and on track. Her personalized guidance has made a real difference in Pepper’s daily life and health. VCA Rossmoor is a wonderful facility with great vets, fantastic vet techs, and a front desk team that is incredibly nice and accommodating. I’m grateful for the care Pepper receives and for the peace of mind this vet office provides.

Called to make an appointment to pull dog’s tooth and was advised I had to come in for a consult first, which costs $120. Came in and was told that they had no openings for a couple months. Paid to be told there’s no availability.

July 11th I visited the VCA Rossmoor Los Alamitos location for the first time and also did a set of vaccines for my puppy, I left feeling like I needed to explore about the future care of my puppy. So yesterday I called VCA(same location I visited) to ask about their advertisement for $20/month unlimited visit plan and was met with an incredibly rude and dismissive attitude by the manager. Instead of calmly explaining the details, I was spoken to in a disrespectful tone, as if my questions were a burden. As a concerned pet owner, I expected clear and compassionate communication — not sarcasm or condescension. It’s disappointing that a veterinary clinic, a place meant to support both pets and their humans, would allow this kind of behavior from their management. I hung up feeling unheard, disrespected, and with no desire to step into that location ever again. I will be taking my pet’s care elsewhere and would not recommend this location to anyone who VALUES kindness, professionalism, and customer service.

1st time visit, didn't leave a lasting impression unfortunately. The Vet was great so were the vet techs, the receptionists just didn't match that professionalism and energy. I had a 1st appointment and was told to be 20 minutes earlier to be met by an unfriendly person manning the desk and training another to be told the vet wouldn't be in until the time of my appointment, fine, i was just there for a rabies vaccination and took over 2 hours, which can be understandable but not the unkind way the receptionist told me to "sit down and wait to be called" , when im trying to literally give you my money..... i walked out with my dog and all of the sudden they were ready for my money. Too bad they're the face of the facility because i wont be back and i wont refer, it all goes full circle and pays for those receptionists to be rude and clack away like they're saving the world and you're interrupting them lol.... the only one that showed a little kindness was the trainee Michelle the rest were awful. Ill have to find another clinic to take my money.

A certain vet was patronizing and rude, did not answer my questions, and kept fake smiling when he delivered his sparky comments. Never again will we go there. I don't pay $130 a visit to be treated like that, dr. C.
