  The bedside manner of the techs here is not great. Did what had to be done but the environment and tone were unfortunately not very professional.

  Do not take your pet here. My sister dog was hit by a car. They took her in right away (surprised it was so quick). Then a lady came in the room and told her that she needed radiography pelvis or hip x-ray $540.75, 2 hour radiology interpretation $238.60, and a sedation radiology $83.30 and a doctors visit $180.10. She asked if they can just do the x-ray they told her no. Then she thought the doctor would come in the room to talk to her, they never did. They told her they need to do it all or we cant help her. So she took her dog back. My sister thought she would not owe anything because she never saw a doctor, nor did they come in the room to speak to her. But they chg her for the visit and pain meds on top of that. She asked, "why do my dog need pain meds if you cant tell me if anything is wrong? They said the dog might be in pain, this is for just in case she is. She left very upset and angry. She will never take her dog there again. VCA does not care about your pets, but they are all about the money they can get out of desperate pet owners. Her regular vet called and her dog is getting the care she deserves with out being taken advantage of. VCA YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!

  The staff at vac are really great,they explained what they were going to due theprice,any questions that you have before starting with the treatment,. They are very concerned about your dogs needs , treating them with the same care they would give their own job well done,keep up the outstanding service

  I bought my senior dog in with an anal problem. He was quickly seen, diagnosed and treated. They also worked with me on a treatment plan I could afford( I’m a senior on limited budget). I’m so thankful for the caring service received and Bobby’s feeling much better.

  Don't come here take your pets to Bixby Animal Hospital in Torrance. My boyfriend and I brought our kitty here for urgent care 02/17/26. We were told to have our kitty hospitalized and to pay for him to stay. We willing applied to get the credit care credit card since it was a lot of money. We wanted to make sure our kitty was getting the treatment he needed. Once we left we got a call from them bout 1hr later saying we need to get our kitty to another emergency vet since they were closed the next day. This was so unprofessional like how does your staff not know its going to be closed. We felt like they only wanted our money. We went to Bixby per their recommendation and they were amazing. We were not able to pay using the credit care credit card even though vca said we could because the money hasn't returned to the card yet. Thankfully we didn't need it since Bixby was very affordable and didn't charge us for unnecessary services. I feel like VCA was just adding services to get our money and took advantage of us during a stressful situation. Now I have an unnecessary credit card... Save the headache go to Bixby!
