It's been a very hot summer with several days of triple digit temperatures. In July I noticed the HVAC (installed by a building contractor in 2010) wasn't able to keep the indoor temperature at 78F, especially when the outdoor temperature was 95 or higher. In previous summers, this had not been a problem. I searched the internet and yellow pages and found Western Equipment Service, who specialized with the Carrier brand HVAC and was listed on the Carrier. I called Western Equipment and a technician was sent right away. Bud reported the refrigerant was low and he recharged the refrigerant. Immediately, the house was cooling again. He reported additional problems that needed attention. The subcooling and temperature differential were off spec, suction was low and superheat was high. He recommended a new thermal expansion valve. After a few days, I decided to move forward with the recommendation. When technician Tim arrived and inspected the thermal expansion valve inside the coil assembly, a leak was discovered. Pictures were taken and shown to me. A quote was given for a new coil assembly, which included the thermal expansion valve. The new coil was acquired within a day and was installed by Tim with assistance from another technician of which I did not get his name. Now the air conditioning is working like new again! The office staff was pleasant to work with for scheduling service, price quotes, and payment. The technicians were very friendly, knowledgeable and descriptive of the problems found. Once the new coil assembly was installed, the General Manager Ralph provided an Extended Warranty Certificate for the new evaporator coil. I highly recommend Western Equipment Service!

I called them in the evening when my home air conditioning quit, they came out promptly the next day, fixed it very quickly, charged a very reasonable price, and had the system up and running in an amazingly short time! They came highly recommended, had been out once before (to fix my heater during the winter), and they are my first choice any time in the future for any HVAC needs
