  BEWARE OF THIS OFFICE!!!! DR. FENTON SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE ON ANY ANIMALS WHATSOEVER. We brought home a seven month old Shih Tzu, who was so fluffy and cute, but I needed to get him groomed ASAP because of the heat here My irregular fat couldn’t fit him in for the rabies vaccine which he needed before Grooming so I decided to take a chance on this office 😩 First of all this, Dr was so condescending and rude. He’s an older doctor sat in his ways, horrible bedside manner no people skills whatsoever and that should’ve been my first sign to get out. Puppy was seven months old. I had no prior history of him and they did do a Full check on the puppy and a rabies vaccine. I did let the doctor know that he gets very overheated and that’s why I needed to take him for the Grooming as soon as possible. With that said, the doctor talked us into an allergy medication and told me to double the dose Right away and give him one a day for seven days?? I told him he’s not having any allergies or itching Him This?? He assured me that The allergy medicine will make it easier for him to get used to the heat and it won’t be as hard for him To breathe out here. The baby was the sweetest angel on earth and after this visit, he went crazy in the car. He was so traumatized he was afraid to go into the car. He did not stop panting after the medication and the rabies vaccine That night he was at 76 breaths per minute, panting I thought we were going to lose him 😭😭😭😭 It was the hardest thing in the world to watch. I tried to put cold towels on him. I took him outside. I tried to give him droplets of water and nothing was helping. I can’t see it night so there was no way for me to take him to the emergency room so My Daughter drove out here from LA to help me get him to the emergency vet. First of all, he should have never given him the rabies vaccine and an allergy medication at a double dose on a puppy he had no history of! Thank God, my baby made it🙏🏻 They gave him fluids to flush out the medication and monitored his breathing and made sure he was able to stand and walk. I called VCA to let them know what this doctor had done and never ever ever got a call back, an apology, an explanation nothing! I wish all of the VCA’s could be put out of business because these vulnerable pet owners are going here and trusting these quacks! Dr. Fenton should never be allowed to treat any animals. I will tell as many people as I can to stay away from VCA, which we were told when we arrived here from Georgia, but I was desperate for the rabies shot. I wish I had listened to the war warnings 🥲

  Dr. Fenton is a miracle worker. He is a real life Dr. Doolittle. He saved my cat's life 10 years ago and helped her live another decade. Miss Mary was my heartbeat. He is a beautiful soul with a wonderful heart for the animals, all creatures...cats, dogs, snakes, zebras. He is heaven sent. The staff is wonderful as well. I highly recommend VCA All Creatures.
