Terrible and rather annoying experience. Went in around 5:45pm, there was two females that greeted me and at first seemed like they didn’t even know what I was talking about when I said I wanted a new line. They had to ask me multiple times after I was clear I was a new customer needing a new number, and they even looked at each other puzzled before telling me ok let’s continue. I was direct, I asked them what the cheapest phone option was to get a line started, the out the door pricing. They said it would be $29.99 with everything included and I smiled & said that’s a lot better than most places, let’s continue.
The lady goes and brings out the Motorola phone she had and rings it up, then tells me it’s over $400. I told her that’s not what I asked, I need to get a phone with the least amount down as possible, she didn’t understand a lick of what I was saying because she went and grabbed another phone that was also a couple hundred. I asked if they had a phone leasing program and had to ask many different ways for her to even understand what I was asking, mind you the entire time I’m there, this disrespectful employee kept pulling up her stupid sleeve to check her smart watch mid conversation, she did it like 5 times and I don’t know if she was fishing for a reaction, or just genuinely didn’t want to be there helping me, but it was growing frustrating as time went on. I remained patient, she starts the process for the phone leasing, then once again hits me with a high number in the hundreds. I asked why and it’s because she was doing a much newer phone, one I didn’t even ask for..
she never understood the single reason of why I went in there to begin with; get a line started cheaply out of pocket. There was free phone offers in the store that I didn’t know about as the customer to ask for that she could have gotten a line started on and never even offered one. You can absolutely tell these women do not work for commission whatsoever, it’s by the hour, doing the absolute minimum required, then clock out, because they don’t give a care in the world about making a sale or needing to earn customers business.
I can guarantee A LOT of business is lost here, and the sad part is, as annoying as the whole ordeal was they easily could have still gotten a sale done had they tried. I didn’t want to be in there any longer at that point and just left, if I gotta sit there in the store and walk around to find the phone deal that’s best for me, then I might as well do it online myself and not use those clowns at all. I was only in this store less than 15 minutes tops…This pushed me to go search elsewhere, and I was able to get what I needed from a salesman who knew what my needs were and actually listens.
Get these kind of workers out of your store, it’s bad business to have people in sales who don’t show up to work to make any sales because they have 0 initiative & 0 pressure. you cannot even fathom the income this will lose you, sad to say I never got to try cricket wireless, and now, I likely never will.
