  I went it for a routine spay for my dog Abby. At the time of dropping her off I noticed small dried blood drops on the floor of the surgery center. I didn't think anything of it at the time so I left her to get spayed. The day after coming home with, her incision started leaking profusely with blood and pus. I then brought her to my local emergency room (Pacific Care). They informed me that she had contracted MRSA during the surgery do to unsterile conditions. I ended up having to hospitalize her for 2 weeks receiving antibiotics and fluids under her skin. She then had to receive further fluid injection and antibiotics for 2 weeks after leaving the hospital. This ended up costing me 16 thousand dollars. Not including the price of the spay from this place. When confronted they gave me 10k and said that was enough and made me sign a waiver saying i wouldn't sue them. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. THEY ARE LIKELY TO KILL IT.

  Dr. Ma is a lovely person and a wonderful veterinarian. We have been seeing her at VCA Irvine University Park for several years now for our cats. She is incredibly thorough and thoughtful, has always provided great advice--letting us know when a test or treatment is unnecessary, and truly cares about her patients. It's very difficult to find a good veterinarian whom we trust and Dr. Ma has exceeded all our expectations. Thank you, Dr. Ma! The vet techs at the front office are also wonderful, friendly, and efficient!

  I have been going to Irvine Vet Services since 1998 and I feel it is one of the best vets in OC. The people working at IVC are always helpful and the Drs are always the best. The grooming services are the best also, I always recommend IVC when I talk to animal parents. In Jan one of my dogs was put to sleep because she had kidney problems and there was nothing else I could do to help her, My Dr was so gentle and kind. I still go to IVC and the same people who worked there in 1998 are still working there, that tells you something to that they like working there

  We have had three cats under their care over the past six years and we have been delighted with their level of care and their superb treatment of our cats. They are very helpful and take time to explain the process, give us time to make careful decisions, and follow up consistently.
