- MVMike VekselmanNov 25, 20251.0Didn’t think this level of fraud happened with big companies; I went to the store to purchase a cellphone plan, and noticed they also offered home internet. So I inquired about the internet service and gave them my Long Beach address and ID with the same Long Beach address for verification. When I tried to set up at home, it gave an error message, so I tried again a couple days later, same error, so few days later when I tried and received the same error I reached out to customer support. They stated they have a different address than mine. Finding out that their internet service does not work in Long Beach, so the store inputted a completely bogus/fraudulent address of “746 East 89th St LA CA 90002” in which the internet service does work even though it’s an address I never even heard of (no affiliation with me whatsoever). So I drive from LB to the Inglewood store, to be told “I explained everything to the manager, please come back tomorrow when the manager is here, and he will handle everything “. I make the drive again today, the manager is not there, and via call with the employee tells me it’s been 10 days, and returns can only be done in 7, so there’s nothing he can do. I tell him the purchase was done with complete fraud, since they knew it didn’t work in my area and entered a completely bogus address in order to process the purchase, same answer. Unbelievable.
