- JWJake WoodDec 11, 20251.0Profit over pet care. I made a next day visit to see a vet for my 14 year old dog who had a massive tumor that began bleeding through the skin. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes late. After waiting for 7-10 minutes the woman at the front desk informed me that since I was late to my appointment they would have to reschedule me for another day. Apparently their policy is five minutes. FIVE minutes. I didn’t think she was serious. I informed her that my dog was in a lot of pain and it was an emergency. The vet didn’t even bother to come out the ten feet to even lay eyes on my dog and advise on where to go. There were a number of other people in the waiting room. I sense they were all shocked by the interaction as well. One woman even said she’d let me have her spot if her dog wasn’t already in the back. The woman in the front finally went back to ask the vet to make an exception. The vet declined. The entire episode was a shocking display of poor customer service, to say nothing of the utter disregard for my pets wellbeing. I asked the woman at the counter to print my medical records so that I could find a new vet. I walked out with them and will never be going back.
