Verizon tech support and their corporate store were not only unhelpful but actively rude as we tried to get them to fix it. We had this service for more than 2 years and the address was allowed back then but they've since closed it to new customers for reasons that I can't fathom considering how good the signal is at the house. I spent hours back and forth with them trying to explain the situation and point out how this was clearly a system and/or device error that they need to work around and they just wouldn't budge on their line that Verizon intentionally disconnected the service without telling me, while still charging me, and not requesting their equipment back. I was just about to give up when I decided to try the local store in town because I've had good service there before and I also thought maybe an authorized reseller would put in more effort than the corporate store and I was right. Daniel was able to help us right away, upgraded my MIL to a 5G box since her area has 5G UW service and waived the activation fee for the hassle. They'll definitely be my point of contact going forward, and this store is pretty much the only reason I didn't start making moves to transfer our $300 a month account to a different carrier out of pure frustration that the primary Verizon support couldn't figure out the issue let alone make real attempts to solve it.
