This location is deceptive, predatory, and relies on your unawareness to scam you out of more money. They tried to charge my parents $50 for JUST PORTING their phone numbers to their new phones.
My parents and I live in different cities, but we started our new plan with Verizon together at a store where I live. They didn’t have our phones in stock immediately, so the employee who helped us told us once our phones arrived in the mail, we could go to any verizon location and they would help port over the numbers to our new phones.
The sales guy at this fullerton location told my parents it was $50 for the setup service. They handed me the phone so I could speak to him and I specifically said they DID NOT NEED setup services, they just need the numbers ported over to the new phones. The guy said it’s “always been their policy to charge for that, even just porting”. At that moment, I was also at a verizon store in my city getting my number ported and I asked the employee helping me and he said “absolutely not, that guy is lying, there is no charge for just porting, there never has been” and that this employee is just being scummy. That there IS a charge for help with setup but not for JUST PORTING PHONE NUMBERS.
I specified multiple times on the phone that they did not need any setup services or activations, just phone number porting but the sales guy was insistent that they needed to pay the $50, so my parents left and went to a different verizon where they ported their numbers over for free and it took less than 10 minutes.
My parents didn’t get the name of that (lazy? dumb? money grabbing?) employee but judging from the other one star reviews, do yourself a favor and just don’t come to this location at all.

Yolanda is great! I had worked with her once before, so I reached out again when I needed to switch a phone over and add it to my account. She took care of everything quickly and efficiently—I was in and out in just 45 minutes. Really appreciated her help!
