    I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this specific Verizon location regarding the “Bring Your Bill” promotion and the mishandling of my phone trade-in, which has now resulted in financial harm and risk to my credit. On November 9, 2025, a Verizon representative named Austin assisted my boyfriend and me in switching from AT&T to Verizon. We upgraded to iPhone 17s under the “Bring Your Bill” promotion. At the time of the switch, Austin informed us that because one of our phones still had a remaining balance of $628.00, Verizon would provide a gift card within 2–4 weeks to cover the remaining AT&T balance. After waiting 4½ weeks with no gift card, we returned to the store and were told by Austin to wait an additional two weeks. After waiting three more weeks, we returned again and were told by another Verizon employee that the wait time was 6–8 weeks. During this visit, I clearly expressed concern about AT&T sending payment notices, potential damage to my credit score, and the possibility of the account being sent to collections. I was explicitly told that this was “impossible” and that I should not worry. Based on this reassurance, I trusted Verizon’s guidance. After eight weeks, now in February, we returned again due to receiving continued notices from AT&T. We were then told by a Verizon representative named Stanley to contact Verizon customer service. Customer service later informed us that the phone with the remaining balance had never been turned in, and instructed us to return to the Verizon location that processed the trade-in. When we returned to the store yet again, we were told to continue waiting. Finally, on February 16, 2026, a report was escalated to a higher-level manager who contacted Austin. At that point, Austin stated that the phone had been in the locker the entire time and was never properly turned in or processed. Because of this internal failure, my balance has now increased to $826.03, and I have been informed that it may be sent to a collection agency — the exact outcome I repeatedly warned staff about and was told would never happen. Now, I have to wait another 4-8 weeks for the e-gift card & received a ridiculous $75 credit to my bill. This situation could have been resolved months ago had the trade-in been handled correctly or investigated properly. Instead, I was repeatedly given incorrect information, dismissed when expressing valid concerns, and left to deal with the financial and credit consequences of Verizon’s negligence.

    We called in frustrated from an earlier experience at a different store. Phil answered the phone and immediately said come in, even though they were 15 minutes to closing. We walked and in received some of the best service at a retailer. He listened to us, gave us honest feedback regarding our issue, and provided a solution that made us very happy. He didn’t make us feel like we were just another transaction, he made us feel like he genuinely cared about our issue and wanted to help us solve it. Please, if you need anything from Verizon, go see Phil at this location.
