I had a wonderful experience with my pet Bambi here at the VCA greenback animal Hospital. The vet assistant Connor was absolutely fabulous and my dog. Who’s a very anxious dog is up to him right away. The doctor Chris Anderson, I believe is the name was extraordinary and gave my dog Bambi all the medicine she needed To keep her feeling OK

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS THEY ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH MAKING MONEY! THEY DO NOT LOVE ANIMALS! Was not helpful at all! My pet was seen by them several times and in their system, when I called they knew my pets name. When my dog was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma I had him diagnosed at another vet due to VCA being closed when we first noticed swelling. I called and asked them if they would help me euthanize my pet as his health had been majorly declining. They would not give me a straight answer and still told me I needed to pay another $120 there for them to examine him. The vet that originally diagnosed my pet offered to euthanize him for way cheaper and 24hours service. This place was very unhelpful and not empathetic!!! For a vet you would think they would have some empathy for a pet in their system WOW 👎👎👎

New client experience : Two thumbs Down
I was interested in visiting this office because of the free first consultation & my annual responsibility, to pick up a year's worth of flea and tick medication (Bravecto or a prescription from chewy).
I MENTIONED THIS CLEARLY TO EVERYONE I SPOKE TO.
- Initial nurse was a total sweetheart, young and full of spirit
- Doctor walked in jittery and sped up like she was trying to calm down from running
- Speaking to me that way was super uncomfortable & condescending.
When Doctor Susana Marshall DVM asked me about all the ways i was taking preventative measures for my pup, I knew that she had not reviewed any of the information that was gathered by her nurse receptionist on top of the eight years worth of health certifications and documents i brought in correct order since 2015.
Up sold for 90% of my 15 minute visit on future vaccinations, future rehabilitation centers and given information I didn't ask about.
My dog has been on heartworm preventative for eight years somehow I was charged $100 for a heartworm test that came back negative.
After realizing i was charged $410 in the midst of everything happening so quickly I realized later, I left without the flea and tick medication.
The only thing I came for.
I called that day. No one answered. I called the next three days playing phone tag with this foul mouthed & disgusting attitude filled person named Joan. I told her I prefer to speak directly to the doctor not to waste time however Joan was confident she could help me. She couldn't infact help me & showed more interest in provoking a polite turbulence over the phone. Her energy is passive aggressive & instigative. She hung up on me without saying goodbye on our last chat which says a lot about a person's character, let alone a receptionist.
I was calling to see if my second puppy was in danger from being around my first, since I wasn't told to keep them separated.
But that one was infected?
Overall, it was very cute to see his name on the welcome sign coming into the vet, but I would not recommend anyone supporting what's going on at this clinic.
As I said on my last phone call with Joan, if I didn't hear from the doctor by the end of day, I would be opening a claim with my bank and that is exactly what I have done. They have 45 days to respond and I'm sure they will Not because they did the wrong thing and want to rectify BUT because they want to avoid a negative chargeback score people! Businesses look really bad when they have chargebacks to banks so they will try to negotiate with you (the client) as if they didn't do anything wrong. They stand on very little morality and no humanitarian grounds.
I will be filing for a full reimbursement.
Ps. The eight years worth of medical records are completely out of order. Torn folder is destroyed and the receipts are Unstapled. It's going to take me a handful of hours to put everything back together.
there was supposed to be a follow up visit to make sure he didn't need surgery. No one @ the front desk made a follow up appointment. Leaving me looking for a new Vet in an Emergency Situation.
