  I usually have a good experience where it comes to Queek Squad, but as for the company as a whole, I think it's pretty ridiculous that you can't just speak to a representative when you call now. Apparently you HAVE to speak to an A.I. over the phone. Not every customer will appreciate being hung up on by a machine!

  I had a very disappointing experience with Geek Squad. I brought my laptop in for repair because it wouldn't connect wireless to the internet. They assured me they could fix the issue and charged me $40 upfront for the service. However, after like a day, they informed me that they couldn’t resolve the problem. When I asked for a refund since the laptop was returned in the same condition, they flatly refused, citing that they did some software update, which was not the reason i brought in my laptop. This lack of accountability and unwillingness to stand behind their work is unacceptable. What’s worse, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive when I tried to discuss the matter further. I understand that not all repairs are successful, but refusing to refund payment for services not rendered feels like poor business practice. I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable service or fair treatment. It’s better to find a repair shop that values customer satisfaction and takes responsibility when things don’t go as planned.

  I have purchased many laptops and appliances at Best Buy and have used Geek Squad in the past. I went in today and was informed that it is appointment only and the person behind the counter refused to allow me to leave my laptop for repair. There were multiple Geek Squad shirts walking around trying to look busy and only one was actually working with customers. The one that refused to allow me to leave my laptop that I purchased there for repair. It will be a long time if ever that I do business with Best Buy and Geek Squad again.

  Scheduled TV repair 3wks ago via internet, recieved several confirmation notifications. Day of service apt scheduled 8-12. No call no show. Contacted geek squad by phone @ 12:15 for eta, was told would recieve call back from operator, never did. Contacted geek squad online help @1pm, they directed me to call 800#. Called 800# to be told he's 15 mins out at 1:10. No show, called geek squad again at 3:30 spoke to dispatch they confirm unable to reach tech. I requested 1st stop tomorrow morning they told me no they don't have that ability, but have an afternoon apt tomorrow. Not going to waste another day. Not worth the headache, they were useless. I was trying to fix my disabled veteran's tv as a valentines day gift. Do not use their TV tech services they have no control over their technicians nor do they care about their customers.
