  Never able to get your dog in quickly. Usually closest appointment is 5 days out. Condescending when you take your dog in. Definitely unable to handle puppies. If your dog doesn’t love getting needles poked into them, they will complain and make it seem like the biggest deal. Vet is extremely unfriendly, as is most of the staff. Don’t even look up to greet you when you walk in. I know the SD Humane Society gives a free exam with them, but honestly, it’s not even worth your time; the vet mostly criticized my boy’s manners (I had literally just adopted him that week). You are MUCH better off finding a local small business vet that’s kind and helpful instead of rude and judgmental! Ladies of VCA Broadway, do better—people aren’t at the vet usually on happy terms, so you don’t need to make it worse. Maybe other locations are better!

  One was closed and the other was on lunch break couldn't help me or my baby. I drove to two of these places and got zero help.

  I've been bringing my cat here for about 10 years and never had any issues. Then when my cat started showing signs of emotional distress These people did nothing but stress me out more than hit me with a giant over $2000 bill. To test all the medical things like regular doctors.... Instead of addressing the more cheaper option of signs of emotional stress. I used AI for advice with my cat and that helped me more than going to the vet. The vet actually stressed my cat more out... You do not need to test for a ringworm when the hair has already started growing back. What's the point in doing an $800 allergy panel on my 13-year-old cat when it's just emotional stress... I'm not going back here.

  Your pet deserves the best and so do you. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! Front desk staff Unprofessional had to ask Doctors if my pet could be seen. I had to call back 4 hours later after they told me they would call me back (my pet was dying and in pain) Nope no appointments for a couple days ... pathetic ... imagine a Veterinary clinic turning away pets that are dying and imagine a front desk person telling me I could euthanize my pet at home. Years ago this place was a wonderful place. I would recommend it to all but no longer. Hope they go out of business. Read the other reviews and looks at the response by management...... tells you all you need to know. No accountability. No solutions.. No Empathy ...Why have a clinic if it runs like this? Money obviously. Not for the love of animals. Please take you pet elsewhere. I ended up taking my pet to a urgent care and they were EMPATHIC, PROFESSIONAL, CARING staff all the way from the front desk to the Doctors... so there are wonderful places for your animals it is just not here.
