Went to make a last minute purchase for Christmas and ended up being deceived. While there for other reasons, I was told that my internet equipment was due for upgrade. After letting Vanessa know that I was not upgrading my plan as Verizon is my backup internet, I was told that was fine, there would be no change, just an equipment swap. She told me I just needed to call Verizon ASAP to disconnect my old account, so I called the next morning. Luckily for me, the Verizon tech on the phone explained that this new equipment/account was attached to a lower plan, i.e., had significantly less up/down speed and then I checked my account and saw it was even $10 more! I had already plugged in the new equipment and we did a speed test, then I plugged in my old, and sure enough the new equipment/account had half the speed as my old, and again, was $10 more! When at the store, I made sure to confirm there would be no changes to my plan and she assured there would not be because think about it, why would I take the equipment otherwise?! There was another issue with adding the highest equipment coverage to the purchase I made that day, when I specifically said I didn't want it, and when I got a text about the addition of the coverage while I was there, she told me it was a reset on the coverages I already had on other devices due to adding the new equipment. When I got home, I double checked and saw the additional coverage I explicitly said I didn't want added to my plan! That coupled with finding out I was duped on the internet equipment, I am beyond shocked. I am so grateful to the tech who explained the internet service change to me, he could have just disconnected the old equipment for me and went on to his next call. He went out of his way to explain what I was losing, and then helped me to take advantage of some Verizon tools to get better internet service within my house. I'm not sure if this is a Victra or personnel issue, but in the future I will make sure to only go to Verizon proper stores. I am tech savvy so it's not like I didn't understand what was happening, so I worry about other customers who aren't. Please be aware and double check any changes to your plans if you've dealt with this store.

So krazy im here with this amazing lady assistant manager Vanessa was super patient kind and friendly we left with 2 iphone 17pros as we are discussing plans and payment the young man next to us who works here as well I believe his name is Branden was i cant even put into words how many years you read that right how many times he was continuously extremely rude sarcastic and obnoxious to this elderly lady who was soo sweet amd kind and was just having a few noted issues that she was trying to address and get help with and after he tried making an excuse for his behavior after he noticed his behaviors upset all of us because I just couod not hold a smile any longer my heart broke for this sweet lady thank god Vanessa stepped in to help as we all did she also walked this lady to her car ✨️🙏 i wanted to address this myself instead of ignoring it people like him have no business working in customer service that lady was pleading for help and he was soo disrespectful to every request of hers then he also swings a box as if he was going to throw it across the room and my friend who is in a wheelchair with cerebral palsey flinched soo bad thinking it was going to hit her now regardless of his personal issues because he was claiming to be sick and lost some money is never an excuse to treat people that way especially when they come so prepared and respectful as that sweet elderly woman did and she left still soo very confused please address this issue immediately thanks for your time.
