This review is not specifically about Apple park, but rather about my recent iPhone purchase from elsewhere but I wanted to share my thoughts here too.
I’ve been using an iPhone X for almost 8 years, and I recently purchased an iPhone 16 only because Apple stopped releasing iOS updates for the iPhone X and some apps were no longer supporting it. Otherwise, my iPhone X still works perfectly, with excellent battery life—I’m certain it could easily last another three years.
However, from the moment I held the new iPhone 16, I felt a noticeable drop in quality. It doesn’t have the premium feel that the iPhone X had. The new device feels cheaper, bulkier, and more plastic-like. I didn’t get that special excitement I had when I first bought my iPhone X. Although the iPhone 16 comes with new features, it lacks that premium touch and feel.
The screen also seems to scratch more easily, and even the sound when tapping the front or back with a nail feels lower in quality compared to the iPhone X. On top of that, Apple now includes only a charging cable in the box—no adapter.
My unit was assembled in India, and personally, it doesn’t feel as high in quality as the China-assembled Apple devices I’ve used before. Even the unboxing experience wasn’t smooth—the seal didn’t open properly and felt unlike the usual precise Apple packaging. I also noticed an uneven sealing gap, not visible to the naked eye but noticeable under a hand lens.
It feels like Apple is now prioritizing profit over the premium experience they once gave their customers. For me, the last truly revolutionary product Apple released was the iPhone X. Every device after that looks and feels almost the same—bigger, less handy, and mostly minor tweaks to an existing product marketed as something new. I’m quite dissatisfied with Apple’s recent devices and still prefer the iPhone X over the newer models.
And Apple even discontinued one of their greatest products — the iPod, especially the Nano versions. I personally don’t listen to music on my iPhone, and I really don’t want to, because it doesn’t give that true music-listening experience. On top of that, I don’t want to drain my phone’s battery on music since I mainly need it for communication. Apple just doesn’t deliver the feeling we had with their products in the earlier days anymore 👎
Overall, I had a somewhat positive experience I think. Not sure.

Very poor apple service. The team is very dishonest and did not do what they promised. I have all the screenshots and recordings of how they kept on changing their statements in regard to repair of my ohine and even after waiting for 2 months they sent phone unrepaired and instead repaired addition broken from back. When they promised to give me the new iphone 17 pro max after few days they denied and said we can't give new ohine but fix your old phone. They should not be trusted in their words. We cannot keep on doing this. Apple has now degraged in their customer service. It is we people who has made apple king and now thier ego is too much high that they are not fulfilling the promises made. I wonder where are the top officials and ceaos of the company who cannot see that thier team members are exploiting and harrasing the customers this way. We have all the proofs and screenshits and call records.
