I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Best Buy. I purchased a $1,400 laptop, and the representative seemed visibly annoyed the entire time. It made the experience really uncomfortable.
I do want to acknowledge that the representative in the TV section was very kind and helpful. He made the effort to find someone to assist us in computers, which I appreciated but unfortunately, the person who came to help ended up being the worst part of the experience.
I was very close to canceling the purchase and going to Target instead, since they also carry laptops. I was genuinely excited to get a new laptop, but the poor customer service completely changed the experience.

My wife's phone was taken over by an unknown app that was causing her struggle to make a phone call. I went to Spectrum store to ask for help. They suggested me to try the Geek Squad at best buy. I went there without an appointment so I did wait for 10 minutes but the young lady looked at it and in 3 minutes found the the invasive app. She remove the app and the phone was as good as new. Very impressive. This was a great experience and worth the 7 miles drive. I definitely recommend the Geek Squad here. I will return to this location for my next purchase.

Very upsetting when online service is over promising while in-store can’t deliver. Help me understand the difference between online order or buy item in store. I placed an electronic device through online for convenience. It said “will be ready in one hour” that is a very hopeful. I came to the store 5 mins after one hour, I was told the electronic item needs to go through fraud detection through corporate. If corporate does not release, then they cant do anything. So let say if I go into the store and buy something, do I need to have corporate go through the fraud detection before checking out? The item was already charged and post on my credit card 30 mins before I went to the store. If I order Starbucks and the app said 7-8 mins, I came to the store in 10 mins, the staff would tell me the drink needs to go through fraud detection and unfortunately is it available. If your online service requires that type of process which I could understand then there should not be a promising time when it should ready to pick up. Also, maybe include “estimate ” and provide details with ETA. It’s 3 hours mark and still nothing. Contact corporate at 3:00 pm and was told item should be ready to pick up NOW. Well, with benefit of a doubt, I gave 30 mins wait time. At 3:30pm Still nothing. Store is empty and I am sure the available staff(s) can just go grab the item and put at the online pick up area for the customer to pick up. It is a waste of time and gas just because I follow what online said “ready in 1hr”.

This is for Best Buy Corporate, not this store. They're fine.
But holy crap your AI operator is completely useless and then when it finally agrees to transfer me to a human that human can't even speak English. So yeah, giant waste of time.
If you have a question you may as well drive down to ask on person since it will take the same amount of time.
