ER wait times are absolutely ridiculous, you can be in excruciating pain, and still wait over an hour for any sort of medications. I had to come BACK because my pain level with my broken ankle was beyond normal, they sent me home with nothing. Told me I was crazy basically. Also, they treat everyone as if they’re drug addicts looking for their next fix of pain meds. Really great team they’ve got over here.

The entire staff is wonderful, and they go out of their way to help you. From the maintenance staff to the dining and nutrition folks to the PCTs, nurses, and the doctors. Everyone is so kind and caring. It sucks being stuck in the hospital, and they go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. They run every test they can until they find out what is wrong, and they don't give up on you!
On a side note, the fact that you get a private room is extremely important, with your own private bathroom. You don't have to hear another patient's moans, groans and family business, and they don't have to hear yours. For a hospital, the food ain't half bad either; it's pretty decent, but could use more simple diet things for people with ARFID or otherwise restricted diets. I'm not saying go there for a vacation, but if you have to be in the hospital anyway you might as well be in a nice one with competant people.

Worst hospital, I guess in California you have to be a millionaire to get good care or you're SOL. My mother-in-law went in 2 days ago and they still don't have a room for her. The staff is rude and don't care if you're dying or have a family member that might be. Gavin Newsom you ruined my birth state. You need to resign
My only experience of this hospital so far has been with the Emergency Department, so my review is meant to reflect this.
Having taken a family member many times to the ED of a different local hospital, what stood out for me in my experience here was how much more heart all the staff brought. It seemed everyone genuinely cared for my well-being and gave not just of themselves as professionals but as human beings.
I especially appreciated Dr. Hull, whose manner was wonderfully refreshing. I was very stressed and his easy way of communicating, along with his marvelous high topped tennis shoes, cheered and relaxed me.
One never knows what to expect when going to an ED. Did I have to wait too long? I can’t say because I don’t know the emergent needs of the other patients. While I had to wait longer than I wanted, I don’t think my wait was unduly long.
If I had a magic wand, I’d give the ED itself a makeover like the one Fresno Kaiser just got. While waiting for my doc to see me before being discharged, I was in a crowded hallway and felt uncomfortable listening in on conversations with other patients about their medical issues. For this reason, I’m deducting one star.

Went to hospital by ambulance and had a shoulder sling when I was admitted and the nurses discharged me without bothering to put it back on me of returning it to me. Called to get it back and got transferred to the ER department, the operator, security, lost and found who told me there is gonna be a two week investigation, and in the mean time I can file a grievance complaint.
Not a bit of compassion or care from start to finish. The ER SAID I CAN CHECK MYSELF IN AND GET ONE.
And wait another 5 hours and go see them again to pay them another fee when they took my property to begin with?
I even asked the male discharging me to make sure they had given my sling back it had got taken off me to get X-rays done and he said I put it in your (property) bag.
The security told me they’ll reimburse me at the end of all of this, but even then they can’t reimburse me for my time or the inconvenience. I was in a traumatic motor vehicle accident and in pain. And he couldn’t bother to check for it even after I asked my nurse if they returned it to me. the lack of compassion from the ER staff, the negligence of the discharging team, the disregard to my pain and healing shoulder ligament trying to get my property back, and the ineffective “lost and found” return process is why I’d Id give them a 0/5 stars if I could.
