Geek Squad has many new people learning, so it is essential to know what you're getting yourself into when getting your item(s) serviced. I did have one major complaint over the many years of excellent service. My laptop memory was not backed up and lost. I did not receive helpful service but met with a rude and condescending attitude from both Geek Squad and Best Buy. So, make sure to back up your files because no one will care or even try to help you.

Their prices are far too high in comparison to the mom-and-pop computer shops in the area, and their work is far too sloppy. I would never recommend the Geek Squad to a friend. Find a "geek" you know and trust, and stick with him/her.
