  My family recently adopted our first pupppy and received a complimentary first free appointment coupon from the shelter however I didn’t book the appointment within the time frame once I called they were so kind to inform me that all of their first appointments are complimentary which I was very happy to hear being our first dog I thought this is excellent this office is going to be our new home for our dog. Come time for the appointment and I was about 7 minutes late and was rudely informed that the appointment has been cancelled and that there is no grace period not even for 5 minutes. Please note that this also was never mentioned on the phone when making the appointment. I didn’t even want to explain why or see if there anything they can do because if this is how you treat your customers I don’t want to give you any of my business. Mind you there was only ONE other person in the waiting room who was only waiting to pay. I can completely understand you have a strict schedule to keep and one late appointment makes the rest of your appointments late however it was the first visit and she’s only 4 months old and there was a better way to go about it. I don’t like to leave nasty reviews but I am in complete shock of the behavior of your staff. I also am not interested in ever going to another VCA there are plenty of other vet hospitals nearby that will gladly take our business so please save your Google review apology for someone who needs it more then me. It’s such a shame to offer “your first vet visit with us is free” when this is the behavior of your staff not a good look trying to gain additional clients.

  Found a poodle my daughter decided to take it with her to colorado needed emergency visit for rabies and vaccinations to get. On plane they were accommodating and undetstanding.poodle was examined so well vet found a heart murmur and severe dental problems.which leads me to believe dog abandoned die to health issues which my daughter is willing and able to take care of

  At the time I adopted my cat I was told that he had worms. However, I was also told that I could go to a VCA Animal Hospital and the visit would be free. HA HA HA. VCA-Burbank called me so I decided to make the appointment. He was examined for first/free visit to the tune of about $200.00. After explaining I was living on SSI, etc. this was generously whittled down to $59.00. I was given a special little container for a stool sample which I was to bring back. I went back a week later with the stool sample and was charged $69.00. I walked out. Now I have two cats with worms. What kind of place is this hospital? Well its big and bright, very sterile looking, huge reception area with all new computers. Hell, even in the exam room there was a little doggie tent with a price tag. We are paying for their nice office, computers, etc. Everything about this place is money making. I don't believe they care about the animals - not really.
