I was told I was just paying tax, had a whole conversation with the rep asking why the tax was so high seemed like more than 10% of the cost. Rep said she didn’t know why tax was so high and took my payment. Come to find out the total was so high because there was $100 subtotal added to the bill that the rep didn’t mention, even after the total was questioned. I went back today to take care of it, per Verizon customer service. When I went in reps were dismissive, she said “I forgot” & didn’t care that they lied to me about what I was paying & let another random customer yell, approach me & get into my face. How do you forget when you are looking at the bill I’m asking you about…. Let’s just say it was def inappropriate. Then the store tried to report me after letting this random lady approach me. Complaint filed at Verizon corporate office.
