I had made 3 visits to 2 Verizon stores in Pasadena; all they told me was to use 611, but this always failed. With outstanding help from Advin, he escorted me through #611 to a successful change of credit cards. It still took close to half an hour. Thanks for allowing Advin to help me. We will always buy new cell phones here. I would have never been able to do this. Please pass up a complaint to Verizon management. This should have been trivial. I can't be the only customer who has to change a credit card number. Yes, I couldn't remember my PIN number, but ALL other sites have a change password option.
