Absolutely. Do not get total tech. Also, absolutely. Do not go to this store. They will screw up your repair and then not call you back even after you wait months for your stuff. Then, when you try to call the store, you will find out that there is no number to call the store. You cannot call the store to get support or check on your item. They connect you to the Philippines. And when you ask them that staff for help, they tell you, there's nothing. They can do for you that you have to drive all the way to the store. Just to ask, what's going on with your repair. They will give you the option to request a call back. Which I have done 5 times you will not get a call back. If they do not call you back. Then, when you ask to talk to some kind of manager that can escalate your problem, they tell you that they have. No other options for you that you just simply have to drive all the way to the store again. Just to ask, when will your products be completed? And when will you know what is going on. I've been when Best Buy a long time and loved best. Buy for many years. But now, after this change that they've made where you cannot reach customer service ever. Other than someone in the Philippines, who, what do anything to help you? Their service is garbage

Went to get my iPhone battery replaced as it had been over two years since i bought it. My phone was in PERFECT condition with the screen not needing to be replaced. After scheduling an appointment and showing up to there being no one there during my appointment time to fix it, i returned the next day with a new appointment. I waited about 3 hours only to be told that my phone screen split in half when the technician opened my phone to replace the battery. They quoted me an extra $500 to replace a screen that DID NOT need to be replaced when I handed it over to them a few hours earlier. I spoke to the Geek Squad manager who was of no help and told me there was nothing he could do but hand over a broken phone to me or for me to pay the $500 for a new screen. Only after learning that his employee already replaced it without getting my approval (a mistake on their end according to him) did he agree to waive the fee. Why should I have to pay for something that I didn’t break? I don’t recommend going to Best Buy to get your iPhone worked on, horrible experience and scared me so much that I would have to pay for something I didn’t have extra money for.

Was traveling and needed to know if my daughter's Surface laptop died or if ot was just the charger. Took it in and the gentleman at the front took the machine and plugged it in to a Surface charger and the machine fired right up. Very nice 👌. Great experience.
However, I was looking at a new Chromebook and another guy came by to help me. Couldn't answer any of my questions. So, no good on the Chromebook experience.

DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY. We bought a pool heater from best buy.com and it arrived damaged damaged from FedEx because they carelessly dropped it harshly on our door on the side that said not to place it on that side. It’s a $1k product. The Best Buy app said it could bring it back to any store and provided a barcode. It’s from a marketplace seller but the app didn’t say about any change of procedure because of that. The store in Beaumont CA (the “manager” refused to take it back because it’s from a third party seller and said it was too big. Disregarded everything the app said. The manager wouldn’t even scan the barcode. This is a terrible company that doesn’t care about its customers. Best Buy if you see this, the order number is BBY03-807123154179. Your manager at Beaumont should be fired for refusing service. Never again will we support you.

Luckily the system allows for one star, because I would have only given it zero Stars. I was in the store shopping on Saturday evening and I witnessed this white bald guy in a blue jacket up at the front yelling at an African American gentleman after he waited in line and let us all pass. Then another guy in a black shirt who had black hair and glasses and was either Hispanic or Middle Eastern, started shouting at him after the guy was extremely courteous and let us pass him in line. It seemed like they didn't want to allow him to buy anything as if his money was not good in the store. Me personally I will never return to the store because it seems like they have an issue with African Americans or they just don't have proper customer service. In this new day and age we should be past discrimination, but this beat buy apparently isn't. If this would have happened at my business there would have been an internal review or terminations.
