It sucks having to buy from these stores. The price is always good but the customer service is awful. Its even worse if you buy online...good luck.

I purchased a PS5 DualSense Edge controller at this location, but upon opening the box, it contained a standard DualSense controller inside with mismatched serial numbers—a clear case of tampered stock or return fraud before I bought it. When I brought it back to the store, staff and management refused to help or exchange it, claiming I had to take it up with the manufacturer. Sony's warranty support confirmed they cannot process a claim for a mismatched device sold by a retailer. Selling a lower-value product inside higher-priced packaging and refusing to rectify the fulfillment error is completely unacceptable customer service.

Extremely disappointing experience at the Best Buy Granville & Robson location. I purchased a Lenovo laptop online because it was on sale and chose in-store pickup since I needed it urgently. After driving a long distance to the store, I was told there was an issue with my order. Instead of resolving the problem, the staff said the easiest solution was to cancel my order and simply purchase the laptop in the store. After they cancelled my order, I was told I would have to pay $400 more because the sale had ended. In other words, I lost the sale price due to a problem that was entirely on Best Buy’s side. I then contacted customer service, hoping they would honor the original price or find a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, they were completely unhelpful and took no responsibility for the situation. I wasted hours of my time, drove across the city for nothing, and ended up without the laptop unless I agreed to pay hundreds of dollars more. This is unacceptable customer service and very poor treatment of customers. I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere if you value your time and expect a company to stand behind its own orders.

I had an excellent experience purchasing my Apple Watch at the downtown Vancouver Best Buy. Dilshya was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain the different Apple Watch models and features, answered all of my questions, and helped me choose the one that best suited my needs without any pressure. Her friendly attitude and professional service made the whole shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Thank you, Dilshya, for your outstanding customer service. I highly recommend asking for her if you’re shopping at Best Buy!

The worst place I have ever purchased a product from. I am not only talking about the store, but about the entire company and the customer service experience. I purchased my Dyson directly from the Dyson website because I wanted to avoid any future problems with warranty or support. Unfortunately, only one week after receiving my device, it started having multiple issues. I contacted Dyson, and they told me to take the device to Best Buy because they have a partnership agreement with them. I went to Best Buy and returned the device with all its accessories. Since the device was still brand new, I expected a quick replacement. I asked the employee how long it would take to receive a new device, and she told me it would be a minimum of five days. I explained that I had a trip planned the following week and really hoped to receive my replacement before leaving. She assured me: “You can be sure, it will only take five days.” On the fifth day, I went back to the store, but I was told they had no information and that I needed to call the repair department. I called, and every time I contacted them, I spent between one hour and one and a half hours waiting. Sometimes, after waiting for a long time, the call was disconnected, and I had to start all over again. After that, I spoke with a representative named Noémie. I asked her about my situation and told her I would be travelling to Vancouver. She told me not to worry and that I could go to a Best Buy store there to pick up my replacement device. I asked her if she was certain, and she confirmed that she was, explaining that Best Buy has stores across Canada. Since then, this situation has become exhausting. I have spent so much time and energy calling every day, only to be transferred from one person to another without receiving a clear solution. I paid over $1,000 plus taxes for this product, and instead of having a good experience, I have gone through one of the most frustrating customer service experiences. Today, I finally received a call and an email saying that my device had arrived at the store and that I should bring my ID to pick it up. I spent an hour travelling to the store, only to be told: “We told you that you could come in to exchange your device.” I want to clarify that this was never a simple exchange request. This was my original device that had already been returned and was supposed to be replaced. To this day, I still do not have my device. I have spent days dealing with unnecessary stress, wasted time, and frustration. I give Best Buy the lowest possible rating for customer service and response time. I strongly recommend reviewing your policies and improving the way you handle customer complaints and warranty cases. 0 Star ⭐️
