  Not BB specifically but one of their vendors, a certain Belilan's Deals. I ordered a Black and Decker BDH2000L hand held vacuum at $99.96 to be delivered from that vendor on the 15th of this month. I wait. Order is being processed. And wait. Then, out of the blue, it says the order is no longer valid. I live chat with BB and get told the vendor "doesn't ship to my area." Now, the vendor's own website says they ship "nation wide" so it's easy to see that living in an out of the way place can have a detrimental effect on orders placed online. I guess I should move out of East Vancouver to Toronto or Glace Bay, maybe. The kicker? That same vacuum is now $148.99 but that probably doesn't have anything to do with it. Meanwhile Home Depot has a selection of hand helds at very good price points in stock so I can go browse and make a purchase there.

  Just bought a portable air conditioner from Best Buy. We visited the store twice, once to check out the choices and the second to actually buy what we chose. Each visit was very productive, informative and the service was knowledgeable and excellent. We were interested in a dual-hose unit (we already have a single-hose unit and didn’t know the differences) and the salespersons (sorry, I forgot their names – Mark? Mike?) explained them clearly. When I went back to purchase the unit and to ask further questions another salesperson, Ali, helped me and I was impressed at how helpful he was too. There was no pressure or confusing technical talk you often get from salespeople. Ali took his time to answer my queries and did so in a manner that was not condescending. He explained how to set up the system with the two hoses and what to look out for. We are frequent customers at Best Buy on Cambie, but this was probably the best experience we’ve had.

  Terrible customer service. No one bothers to help you out. Camera's you cant touch. Only for display, literally. Everyone were tired to assist. Unlike to other branch, they offer help and explain. Arrogant staff. Most of them were just standing there doing nothing.
