I brought in a Dreame X40 Ultra robot vacuum that I purchased from Best Buy less than four months ago because it had completely stopped working. The employee offered absolutely no assistance — no diagnostics, no Geek Squad, no warranty service options. Instead, they simply Googled Dreame and told me to contact the manufacturer myself because more than 30 days had passed since the purchase. I did not expect Best Buy to simply replace the product outside the return period, but I did expect meaningful assistance with a nearly new defective product purchased from them. Extremely disappointing experience.
