Karn provided one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about helping us find the right solution. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to meet someone who combines technical expertise with such outstanding customer care. If every technician provided service at Karn’s level, customer experiences everywhere would be dramatically better. Thank you, Karn, for going above and beyond. Absolutely outstanding service. Five stars aren’t enough!

Most of the staff at this store are friendly but the only person I saw that wasn’t of help was the Asian girl who was constantly talking to the manager and not helping customers. We were idle for quite some time before someone approached us to help, and even though she approached another customer nearby to help them, she returned to talk to her colleague instead of helping us next. Also, they should probably think more about DEI and hire more diverse staff to reflect the diversity of their customers. They are just selling cell phones after all, not any luxury item. Will probably return the phone and get it from an authorized reseller instead.

My husband went to pick up my order and had both the barcode and order confirmation email ready. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted him was rude and unhelpful. The interaction made us feel as though there was an issue with the payment, even though the order had already been paid for. Customer service should be respectful and helpful, especially when assisting customers with order pickups. Very disappointing experience! Btw! She’s a Filipino like us. Girl if you’re having a bad day, don’t come to work!

Very disappointing experience. I just wanted to buy a pair of headphones as a gift for a friend. I didn’t need to try them or ask for any detailed assistance. First, I found an employee and told him I wanted to make a purchase. I assumed he could simply help me check out, but instead he brought me to another employee who was already assisting a different customer and told me to wait for her to finish. I thought she would be available shortly, but after waiting 10 minutes she was still busy. It was a Tuesday, and the store was not crowded. Because I was in a hurry, I asked the employee who was helping the other customer if someone else could assist me with the purchase since I just wanted to buy the headphones and leave. She pointed me to another employee who was not assisting any customer at the time. I approached her, explained that I was in a hurry and only wanted to purchase the headphones, and asked if she could help me. She told me that she was checking appointments and could not assist me. I said that I didn’t understand why it was so difficult to make a simple purchase in such a large store when there were not many customers. Her response was quite rude. She said, “Can’t you see that every employee is helping customers?” I was honestly speechless. From the moment I walked into the store, I kept being passed from one employee to another. The first employee who wasn’t helping anyone sent me to someone already busy with another customer, and then I was directed to another employee who also refused to help. None of this made any sense. I genuinely cannot understand how this store is being managed. The service was frustrating, the staff coordination was poor, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. Unless absolutely necessary, I will not be returning. Terrible service and terrible management.

Extremely disappointing experience at the Apple Store in Richmond. I booked an appointment for a battery replacement and was given a time slot at 8:00 PM yesterday. When I arrived, I was told they couldn't perform the repair because they were closing soon, despite the store being open until 9:00 PM. If battery replacements can't be done at that time, why offer the appointment in the first place? The staff suggested that I leave my phone overnight. That is simply not practical for many people. In today's world, our phones are essential for work, communication, banking, navigation, and daily life. Not everyone has a spare phone available. I declined, and instead they completed some paperwork, reserved the battery, and told me I could come back anytime the next day. I returned today, explained the entire situation, and was then told that the battery replacement would take approximately three hours because there were many customers ahead of me. This made no sense. If I was told to come back anytime and the battery had already been reserved for me, why wasn't that communicated properly? Why was I not given priority after being turned away the day before? As a result, I ended up making multiple trips, wasting my time, money, and energy, only to be met with conflicting information and poor customer service. What's even more frustrating is that London Drugs can complete the same battery replacement in about an hour, yet an Apple Store could not manage a straightforward battery service efficiently. Overall, the experience was disorganized, frustrating, and far below the standard I expected from Apple. I will not be returning to this location and cannot recommend it based on my experience.
