I had a n unpleasant shopping experience regarding a serious issue that occurred at Apple Store inside Richmond Centre on May 9, 2026. 1)What happened in-store On May 9, 2026 at 7:38 PM, I purchased an iPhone 17 at the store. During checkout, I attempted to use Affirm for installment financing. However, I was informed that my selected setup could not be processed as credit-card installment financing. As a result, I cancelled the Affirm/bill setup and I completed my purchase using my credit card as a one-time full payment before leaving the store. 2)What happened after leaving the store Approximately one hour after I left the store, I received an email from Affirm notifying me that an additional installment purchase had been processed. The installment phone described in that notification is: - iPhone 16 Plus 256 GB, pink which I didn’t order The Order Number is a new number. 3) Confirmation from Affirm and impact to me Afterwards, I contacted Affirm to verify what financing had been created under my name. Affirm informed me that there were two loans opened in connection with the above purchase, including phone and AppleCare, and that these loans were linked to the Richmond Centre Apple Store. This situation caused me significant stress and wasted time. I spent about a day dealing with Affirm calls to cancel the loans. I am also very concerned about the security and handling of my personal information, as this experience has left me worried that the same could happen to other customers. 4) Request for investigation and response I request that your store: 1. Investigate what went wrong during checkout, specifically how this Affirm installment confirmation for Order R4211112040 occurred after I cancelled the installment arrangement in-store. 2. Explain the process and safeguards your systems use to ensure that any cancelled financing selection is not mistakenly confirmed. I hope I can get a response detailing what your store can confirm regarding this incident and what corrective actions will be taken to prevent similar cases. I would appreciate your serious attention to this matter, as it involves both customer inconvenience and potential identity/data security risk.

Do not purchase from this location. Staff are incompetent, untrained and just looking to make a sale. On Tuesday, May 5 tear We brought it our watch to buy or exchange for a new strap that would fit my daughters wrist. We were told this is not possible and that we had to purchase a new watch. we had the watch with us and the associate inspected the watch and told us that we can return the current one for a full refund. so we did just this. We arrived the next day and we were told that the cosmetic scratches on the already inspected watch is not returnable but that with a purchase of apple care, they can replace the wrist strap. I was surprised that this option was not provided to us from the start! 2 days, 1 store and completely different policies and procedures. Manager took no accountability for the lack of competence with his team. This could have been resolved with 1 visit which has now turned into 3 visits. My experience at this location has been terrible. Each visit they were quick to suggest options that required us to spend extra money. I guess this helped their sales quota.

I went to this location to buy a Neo or ipad for my wife. After telling a sales person the choice we made, he proceeded to tell me a bag will cost $0.25. At first I didn't think much of it, but then I asked him why charge this when I'm buying a $999 item? He said it was store policy and then rudely added that the government implemented this as well. I thought maybe he was in a bad mood so I asked to see a manager...he only called over a senior sales person, but she was also very rude to us. Then I thought, maybe its because it was near the end of the day for them and the last thing they want to do is to help customers. Finally, after insisting several times to call a manager over...he finally was called over to us. The manager, Ryan did not help. He did not resolve anything. He was defensive for no reason and did not help in any way...stating store policy he said. I have been an avid Apple user since 1989 starting with the Macintosh IIci... iPads, iMacs, Power Macs, Power Books, iPhones, iPods, Mac Minis, G3's, G4's, Macbook Pros...I got them all over the years. Apple's "Bricks & Mortar" locations should be a place welcoming with awesome staff...but it wasn't what I experienced. Apple always make improvements in its products, maybe its time to improve the quality of staff too. I guess I expected more from the Apple team...maybe its time to just buy online, that way I won't be disappointed in the service...at least the delivery might be included. In the end...I apologized to the Apple staff for being a rude 39 year loyal Apple user.

I came here to pick up an order I placed online for a charger because my laptop didn't seem to be charging with my current one. They actually let me use their chargers there to try to get my laptop running again and even squeeze me in to see a technician 30 minutes before they closed in spite of there being a wait. All the three people I spoke to during my time there were genuinely nice people and actually cared about their customers. So so helpful and kept checking up on me and making sure I was being helped and doing okay.
